Take them off and use aerosol paint stripper. It won't mess up the plastic

sup guys...I was wondering...I picked up an '07 SI rear muffler and was thinkin of throwing it on my DA..What's your opinion???? I would custom route the piping so that I can place it in stock location. I'm just not feelin the oval tip(fixed that small problem just by removing the tip...now its a nice round exhaust tip..the way it should be). I'm tired of my magnaflow being so loud and alerting the P.D.

Thanks for the responses guys..I just don't have a lot of $$$ lyin around to get the RS*R...besides I got mine brand new from a wrecked SI for $75. if it doesn't work I can turn around and sell it on e-pay. Plus I've noticed that the SI piping is the same as the current piping I have now..I think 2.50.
