i'm also toying with the idea of selling the suspension to get something softer just in case i have to drive the baby around somewhere after its born. dont want its head bobbling up and down like those bobblehead dolls.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I wanna get some HID's for my DA but I have the JDM headlights and I don't know what bulb is compatible with the H4H socket. I don't really feel like customizing too much, just looking for something that will pretty much just plug up with little to no modification. Anybody done this, maybe help me out?!?! Thanks a lot.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Here you go:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ambiguousasn &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I guess this thread has my name all over it.

Retrofitting any projectors into a JDM one piece headlight seems like a good idea right? Wrong... the results are iffy, I say this because first off, our lenses aren't clear - this will distort the distribution/output of light, the color at the cutoff, the cutoff itself, and everything else you'd come to expect using OEM HID projectors. Also the angle of the DA headlight causes an unwanted rainbow shaped cutoff from each light. The cutoff will not be flat nor will it be sharp.

I ultimately wanted to have clear lenses custom fabbed but it just became a project that didn't seem to outweigh its cost. Regardless, the angle of our lights may have still caused an unwanted rainbow shaped cutoff. Basically for me, if it wasn't perfect, I didn't want it!

I still have my retrofitted headlights, they're sitting under my bed, don't ask if I'll sell - trust me, no one's gonna pay what I paid into it... $400 for headlights alone? =p

My solution for those who want HIDs - get HID foglights. That's right, aftermarket HID projector foglights made by either Hella or Sylvania (sp?).
