Found this automotive B & C grade one at Walmart for $15

I wanted to mount it close to the driver seat so if something happened it would be within easy reach. I ended up mounting it on the underside of the dash panel

I hope I NEVER have to use it, but it's a nice thing to have just in case something bad were to happen especially for just $15
Ahhh I see, I thought I heard the bov when you lifted lol Garret t3/t4 50 trim? Almost the same setup I'm going minus the head gasket, e85, and I have the b18c1 in my DA.

I drove my brother's DA B16 turboed. It's quite addicting to not smash the throttle

Very smart purchase, it's actually up next on my to-do list.

I always loved this car and the way it sounded when it was NA, but boost is very addicting.

Hope you're having fun with it on and off the street.

Yep Garrett t3/t4 50. E85 is the way to go man. I've been on it since 2012 and don't plan to switch back...ever. Smells way too good lol

Definitely. Wish I did it years ago. I'd get one for my db1, but idc if that pos burns to the ground. That might actually improve it. Yeah I miss the rsr it had when it was n/a, but I love the turbo noise so it makes up for it. I have WAY too much fun with it trust me.

Noticed a small coolant leak while at cars and coffee on Sunday. Saw dried blue drops on my trans and then noticed the back side of the distributor was wet. Something is spraying coolant, but haven't had a chance to get the pressure test on it and check. No big deal though.

Shot of it from cars and coffee right before I noticed the leak

Right on. I'm not too familiar with running E85. Did you have to swap the fuel lines to run them? I "heard" that E85 is corrosive. Your thoughts on E85? I thought about running methanol injection down the road though.

LIES! All lies. I'm running stock tank, stock lines, stock rail, stock fpr, even stock fuel filter. Been running like that since 2012 and everything is flawless. I pulled the tank in 2013 to put the Walbro in after being on e85 for just over a year and half and it was shiny inside and looked brand new. When I pulled the rail last year to put the fid 1000's in it looked perfect as did the old injectors I pulled out. E85 will not harm your fuel system. Don't believe in the myth.

I love e85, love how cheap it is, love how it smells, love the power you can gain out of it with a proper tune. It's well worth it for a boosted setup if it's not your daily. I wouldn't want to daily it that's fore sure. Gas mileage will drop due to the increased amount required to make the same power as 93 (e85 requires roughly 30-40% more which is why you need a pump and bigger injectors). It's also not as easy to come by depending on where you live.

I don't know anything about meth injecting. Never messed with it

Ahh thanks for your input Yeah E85 is available at my local gas station. I'm not worried about fuel mileage since my DA isn't a daily driver anymore. I'll do more research about E85 and thanks again for the headsup

Hi guys,

I just purchased a da9 Ls integra with 250k on original motor. Recently my check engine light came on and I jumped the code and the famous #6 is what the ecu throws. It comes and goes away for a few days....the car has no heating issues, so it's a bad ect sensor, Planning on changing the ect sensor soon because I need to pass smog in the next month.

This is the part I can't figure out.....some morning I start the car, it runs fine. Others, I start the car and it bogs down like its going to die, I press the pedal down w.o.t and it sounds like its backfiring or the engine can't breath or maybe no spark. I hold idle at 2k rpms for a few minutes, then let of the gas and it idles at 750rpm no problems. Wtf could it be? Bad map sensor? Bad dizzy? Both things are $300 dollars new and I don't wanna buy one if I don't. No other code is being thrown at this point.

Wow, you must seriously love DA Integras Haha! In NZ there are many DA Integras which are factory B16A and manual - I wonder if you can source an entire front cut from NZ? Have you got lots of B Series parts available in Indonesia?

its quite rare to have DA walking arround in my country.. B series parts not that much, usually we buy it on ebay or something.. curious, how much for front cut on DA and DB? if its worth it, i'll make a way to import from NZ, usually i buy part from malaysia.

As the cars are common in NZ, they are frequently on auction websites. Keep an eye out on Buy online and sell with NZ's #1 auction & classifieds site | Trade Me. Here's a complete tidy DA hatch with a B18A, but its a bit pricey to cut up and strip for parts. Honda integra 1992 | Trade Me

Unfortunately for you I got a DA8 Integra that I stripped and sold it for parts about 6 months ago - was a complete B16A manual car. Sold most bits to a local guy putting the engine in an EF.
I will keep an eye out for a car for you. If you're serious about getting the parts from NZ I can help sort things out at my end. You're probably best to PM me to save clogging this page lol.

I agree... I over paid for mine 2000.00 and I talked the guy down 500.00 however I plan on a very expensive elaborate build.... not top horsepower but top reliability attractive and fun to drive at 325 or 350hp why get more that's an affordable goal and it will be awesome to drive. its nice and I can customize it how I want. I love that about it the most I think...cheap to build compared to a v8 that's for sure...
