Honestly, it might just be all semantics.
The B20 and B18B share the same stroke. The increase in displacement comes from the 3mm of extra bore size, meaning that the peak power and torque points should be at virtually the same RPM range for both engines.
The only reason I can think of that may explain why the B18B felt like it had more top end power than the B20 would be that the B20 you had was 96-98 spec, meaning it only had 126hp. The B18B has ~145hp, and in comparison to a 126hp B20, it would feel like it has more top end power. I'm assuming that if you compared a B18B with a 99-00 spec (146hp) B20B/B20Z you wouldn't feel the same.
The 126hp B20B DEFINITELY falls on its face in the high end compared to a B18B and 99+ spec B20B/Z.

btw, what do you guys think of the replica mugen kit from JDMCARBOY.COM?? anyone have any experience with them or hear any feedback on them?

hey guys i have a 93 DA that got stolen and crashed...my insurance did not want to fix it so i fixed the body myself....but it was parked for a 2 months while i saved up and did the work.....now when i drive the car i cant rev over 4500 rpm or the car will shut off on me also the muffler is shooting a rusty liquid looks like antifreeze and am like WTF...idk what it could be someone said fuel pump or filter...others say its the computer, my oil pump...idk who to beleive...did anyone have that problem before and if u did what can be done about it.

hes not putting a b20 in his CRX. his CRX already has a k20. hes putting it in the DA which has a beat *** LS right now.
Kyle i had an exedy flywheel with an exedy stage1 clutch on my mostly stock b16 and it never did anything like you were talking about earlier. I would have no qualms getting another exedy. i would look into them over fidanza

I bought my wheels because i like them not because of what other people think. I don't really care if no one else likes them. Your car is way to nice to put those wheels on. No need to get butt hurt. lol
