Andy and Bond and anyone else,
Looks like my issue was the crank pulley bolt had seen it's day, the threads looked like ****, been re-torqued down too many times. Just not something I paid attention to, guess I will now.

I ordered a new bolt a keyway, should be here sometime next week.

Its a 1 car garage, figure I'll clean it and etch it one night, let it dry and paint in the next night. We have a week from when we settle to when we move in so I'm trying to do things like this ASAP, while things are easier and the house is empty.

Thanks for the info Herb!
No problem, I wish i did it when the garage was empty lol, I waited until stuff was already moved in and had to leave stuff outside when i did it. It sucked because it rained when i was waiting for the floor to dry lol, I ended up putting some fans in the garage to make it dry faster

That's exactly the reason why I am trying to do it now, while it's all empty. Hopefully it works out that way. May run out tomorrow night and gather all the supplies I need to do it.

Yea me either but it makes sense......
DOH! Glad it turned out ok for me.
Once I get the new bolt, I'll take some side by side shots of them to show a difference.

Just notch out the cross member or get a traction bar.

On my to get it fit I just dropped the front crossmember, because I really didn't want to notch it. The only downside is it can only come out when the front crossmember is out.

Swap looks clean. That coolant reservoir looks odd to me though, seems like it shouldn't be so skinny and so tall, more even proportions would look better, or just an OEM one. I think brand new OEM ones look baller, better than anthing aftermarket.

Get some OEM radiator stays, ditch the worm drive hose clamps for OEM or t-bolt, and replace those colored hoses with OEM, clean things up a bit and it'll be looking really good. For me you can tuck and shave all you want but if you don't have the cleaned up little odds and ends it just looks unfinished. I know I've got a laundry list of little stuff like that in my bay.

Yeah the colored hoses are already replaced, and I've already ordered an oem radiator reservoir and the clamps. So it's on it's way to be cleaner, I was just trying it out because my old oem one broke.

Too bad the hood holder stick clip is discontinued, I need one. I wonder if the oem radiator stays are still available to buy.

No need to buy new rad stays if you can't find them, clean up the old ones and repaint them. I had mine sandblasted and i repainted them, they look brand new.
