DA Integra's Only
My buddy aligned the car last night, drives very good!
only 1 weird issue, since the alignment I have a squeak when applying the brakes on the front pass. side. Before the alignment there was no squeak. It sounds like it is coming from the brakes(pads are fine). Not really sure I understand the coincidence.
The only big adjustments made were tie rods and the cars has about +2 caster in it now.
Any of you road race guys seen this before?

If you can have someone listen outside the car, walking along side while you drive slow, it will squeak pretty much constant with no application from the brakes. If this is in fact the case, just look to see where it is making contact and push back on it a little with a screwdriver or something. Repeat test procedure until cured. Hope this helps.
Edit: Just read "when applying the brakes" but I would still recommend checking on this. It sounds stupid but working in a shop, I used to see it all the time.
^ yea, that was the plan however it may take a while, I tried letting the wife drive the car before and that was terrible! LOL Clutch riding and accidental two step all over the place.
Just adjusted tie rods, set ride height in rear and adjusted caster.
It seemed to be just when applying the brakes, no all the time. Yea, I didn't even think of the dust shield. I'll look at it once I get home. It was late last night and I just wanted to get to bed.

One other thing I just thought of... and I will forward by saying I have never done my own brakes on my Teg
so not sure if it even has them... but if a brake pad clip somehow got knocked out of place, that could cause a noise for sure. It happened on my old 4Runner when the shim clip came loose.

Yeah - i wasnt sure on the tegs. I know a lot of cars use Anti-Rattle Clips or Shims. The Teg pads still have backing plates, some people refer to them as shims, but they wont really cause noises after what work you did.

Doesn't use those.
I will look at it when I get home, doubt I will drive it as it is raining out. (drag radials don't make for much fun in the rain).
I'm hoping it will go away as easy as it came on, LOL!

Who pays $350 to paint a hood? You're getting robbed. I paid $250 to have my hardtop painted and it came out flawless. Hood would be easier to paint. Like 200 maybe 250 and its done right.
I had the wrap laying around, i think I spent $45 on it off ebay awhile back. I was honestly just not in the mood to go out and spend the money and figured wrap it until I do. It was really easy to do and thought I'd rock it for a bit.
Plus some customer came up to me saying he'd paint my hood while I was at work. Showed me how great he is at paint and matching, then told me he'd charge me $800.... **** my self and walked away from him for such an outrageous price and assumed that was normal. But if y'all are getting it for $250 then I'll look around
