NA. 81.5mm PR3s
Supertech valve train
Edelbrock cams and 65mm throttle body
AEBS intake with Hondata gasket
All brand new OEM bearings, oil & water pumps, ARP head studs and rod bolts.
Golden Eagle head gasket and cam seal
Competition clutch and flywheel

Should be a lot of fun. No specific power goals in mind.

Nice stuff guys, lots of fun things going on!!!

I had some time Saturday to get the head off the DA but ended up having to put an alternator on the TSX. Which took me forever because I've been having some trouble again with my back so I took my time as to not have a flare up while doing so.

So... I took some spare time over the weekend to clean up the face a little. I taped off and sprayed the whole front grill with black PlastiDip b/c I wasn't sure if I would like the blacked out center piece. I think I do I also sprayed into the triangular side holes. I removed, prepped, and painted the lip with a satin black paint. As well as removed the wiper arms and gave them a little long over due paint. Silver wiper arms FTL...

I also had some extra time so I removed the front seats and shampooed the carpets as well as all of the seats. I wanted to get that done before the cold season starts. Those seats dont dry so well when it's 30 degrees outside.

+1 I hear ya!

So two weekends ago I broke down and replaced my TA bushings with the Dorman part and WOW what a world of difference that made!! The old bushings were horrible. The pass side was pretty much torn completely all the way around and the driver side was very close. The TA bushings along with the new KYB struts I had just replaced a few weeks prior, and the car drives/rides like brand new again. Night and Day -- I cannot even begin to express the joy! Best thing I have done to the car since I purchased it. I also replaced the rear lower strut mount bushings while I had it all apart. I didn't realize before doing the struts that those bushings have to be pressed in and I wasn't at the shop. Not sure how much difference those made but I know they were shot.

I hate that I never think to take pictures as I am working on these things. I always search for good DIY's so I can do the job myself (and not ask a bunch of questions that have been asked a billion times before) and all the picture links are bad So I say to myself that I am going to take pics for my HT buddies so they can see what these great DIY's of old are talking about. Then I get working and forget.

Another thing I've always wondered about is... do the people in these DIY's wash their hands everytime they take another picture or are their phones/cameras just covered in car grime. Me personally, I go with the no glove approach and get down and dirty until the job is done. I've got so much grease and brake dust on my hands by the time I'm done... I won't touch my phone. I use my bluetooth while I'm turning wrenches. IDK... May just be my OCD.

Next project: Replace Exhaust Mani with a new header. I think I have a small crack developing b/c I have the shitty rattle/vibrate noise at around 2500-2700 RPM. It's driving me nuts!!

Sorry no pics... I'll try to remember next time.
