thanks, planning to swap out the original b17 soon, not sure if i want to do b18c5 or k20a2, only reason id keep it B is for oil pan clearance

 

go h2b.. way better than c5 and comparable to k for half the price..

Thanks dude. I just backcut the bumper and was able to fit it. I've never got the body lines perfect, as you can see, but I really don't care that much.

I've been searching to find if anyone has done it but hard to find.. Was it difficult? Looks fine man,

 

No it wasn't difficult. You just need a Dremel and/or angle grinder with a cutoff wheel and some sense. I had to fit and refit a few times to get it to clear everywhere. I have a huge intercooler too at 30 x 18 x 3. I also drilled out the spot welds across the back of my bumper support and cut out the center section.

 

^Any pics how you exacally installed the intercooler? I cut my grill out cause I wanna scare young Woman and children lol. Personally I love it ha. But my intercooler is only mocked up with string and what not. Any help?

Setup is still getting tweaked. I have a huge boost leak somewhere because my dyno numbers were pretty disappointing (290 @ 20 psi). I built a boost leak tester and am just waiting to get the chance to trouble shoot and fix it.

 

Ohh ****... 20 lbs should be pushing way more, hopefully you fix it quick! Take a vid when it's all healthy! That cooler looks great, as well as bay n car

 

It's still pretty quick. Beat a C5 in it already. I'd like to be mid 400's.

 

So it's just a bracket that wrapped around the back of the support and got bolted into?

I'm guessing you had threads on the IC to put bolts in?
