10,500 is a little crazy !?!?!?!? I rev to 9,000 RPM and my rotating assembly is balanced while I run skunk2 stage 2 tunners. is there powere still to be made up there for a 1.6? maybe while a crazy cam and high as fawk compression?

 

NEED SOME HELP!

I'm currently sourcing some stock parts for my new project. I'm in desperate need of:

-90-91 OEM steering wheel that MUST have cruise control buttons and all pieces intact (even the little horn sticker below the center cover )

-90-91 OEM sedan tail lights.

90-93 OEM sedan body panel below rear tail lights. (I believe all sedan years should work. This is the panel that is between tail lights and bumper and runs entire width of rear)

90-93 OEM LF (driverside front) power door lock actuator. Must be for sedan

Note: that if parts are mint I am willing to pay good money for them

Please if anyone can help me out I would be very grateful! I'm in bad need of some help with these as locally it's impossible. Thanks guys!

Ahh Bond, I have a non cruise control steering wheel and 90-91 OEM hatch/coupe tail lights, both in great condition. Bummer! I'll keep my eyes out for you.


DeeAye999, dude. If that's your first post on the forum you're not going to be able to make or post your own thread. You have to have a certain amount of posts before that can happen. And regarding posting pictures, are you posting them from your computer or cell phone? You can always upload pictures through an image host such as Tinypic or Imageshack. You get the image code/url and either:

A.) Press the pretty little "Insert Image" icon in the message box (the little yellow box with the two gray mountains in it) and then insert the image url you just made.
B.) Type [img][/img] and insert the url you just made in-between the two brackets. Ex: [img]blahhhblahhbladDA9[/img]

 

@BOND....i got power doors im replacing with non-power doors, i dont EXACALLY know what part that is but im sure i have it....its off a 92 hatch. lmk. maybe provide a pic.


So i kinda got my intercooler mounted and bumper cut out...cant wait till i get my motor in 4 months! not looking forward to running brake lines.

 

I'm about to buy a bnib oem front bumper for $360... buy it or keep searching? I have the materials to fix the 92 front already but i kind of want both years to switch up every once in a while. If i have no luck buy the end of the weekend i'm buying it on monday

 

Ouch...i would keep looking, but i also have 5 local junkyards to pick from and DAs seem to be the most popular. I personally like the 92-93 bumper but i guess thats just me being bias.

 

god damn $360 seems like too much

 

I have about 7 junkyards to choose from but they are always either crashed in the front or someone ruined it by ripping the bumper off to get to another part. Yeah $360 is alot but it will be right from honda. I found a used one for $160 but it would need some work done to it, These parts are really hard to find in louisville so i don't even bother. I look when i'm in philly

Yeah its balanced. It will have an ati dampner. Cams havent been bought yet. Rlz is working on some that I may try once they get to test them on Wes' car. Howard revved his b16 to 11,500. 10,500 seems to be pretty common and needed with a large turbo.

 

I only revved to 8k and made ~350 on 20 psi. That was disappointing. I need to get retuned on my new s2s2's in the spring.

Whoa! $360 is a lot man. Have you seen this guys DA partout thread on NWP? He's asking $100 for a brand new 91' front bumper cover. If you can have him ship it to you it'd cost way less than $360. Even if shipping comes to $150, that'd still be $250 total. Just thought I'd run it by you before you pull the trigger.
