that's what I'm not hoping it is! there's no way i'd have time to change a headgasket until summer school is done which is in late july
plus it's going to be hot so I don't know what to do. I think im just going to have to pull every coolant hose and see if they have a split or cracks in them.

you ought to be able to find it AS you fill the system.

i do. its not the most important thing to me though. and its definately not gonna make me pick the chassis. Ask me what i've done to my CRX to make it LOOK any better. dont care too much about that kinda **** right now. function comes before form for me.
I'm still on hubcaps:

My DB2 project
I'm having some issues with my B20 in it. I am not getting spark or fuel. Tried two different main relays, a different fuel pump, different distributor, tried using my brothers LS manual engine harness, I have an auto one on it. Tried three ECUs; the original P61, my brother's PR4, and a P75 I bought. Nothing seems to work. Is there something else maybe ignition related that would cause these two symptoms? I'm lost as to what it could be. Any help is appreciated.</TD></TR></TABLE>
all i can think of is a ground to ur ecu or something.. fuses?..

Matty sad to say, it sounds like the head gasket. I mean coolant is either gonna leak out of somewhere obvious or leak into the motor and burn off
.
Easiest was to test the head gasket:
1. Take the rad cap off and start the car. If the head gasket is blown it should shoot coolant out of the rad cap due to the compression.
2. Look at the coolant, check for dis-coloration and oil in the coolant
3. Car should smoke, not idle, run like **** if head gasket is blown. You would notice a huge performance dip.
Good LUCK!

Just read your last post again.
So basically if after a while you see coolant by ur trans you have a very simple issue. Come on you can fix this. This means your car has heated up, the thermostat has opened and there is simply a hole in your lower rad hose. That would explain why it takes a while and why it is in the location.
Check the hose for holes or if it is on correctly!

I didn't do the work, there are brand new honda oem hoses for the radiator(I just paid my mechanic to do all this work but i ended up doing all the [freak]ing work in the end), so i don't expect things like this to happen! the hoses are like a month old!!, so I'm going to check my lower hose....and my car's performance is great so i doubt its the head gasket, it pulls very strong, so i have to find this leak! I hate sounding like a n00b because i've done this stuff so many times before on all the DA/DB's i've owned including other DA's i've worked on

Yea but new stuff sometimes comes defective, for instance thermostats. I think those are the most common new oem part that is often defective.
Sounds like an easy fix somewhere, if all else fails, jack the car up, turn it on and wait for it to leak.
Who cares about sounding like a noob, we all have questions that someone else knows the answer too.

Yeah like my last thermostat.....lol, looks like ill be buying another hose and draining out the coolant for the 4th time
but i need to do it because I'm going to track the car in july so i have to be ready!
