anyone know anyone thats looking to buy a b18b1 enigne??i have one for $400 i was gonna do a swapp for my civic but couldnt find a tranny so i decided not to do the swap.

I say 40lbs because I know it will take that to do what I want, and the fact that there's no reason the motor can't handle it. It will be on an s400 67mm.

Went out and played with boost by gear for a bit.

For some reason I seem to hem and haw when it comes to actually going out and getting in the DA to drive it. But once I'm in it I don't want to leave.

It's pretty hot over here for December (About 60 degrees) so it's nice to have some added traction help.

 

Only thing with that large of a turbo is being able to build enough boost before redline. From what I see others are at about 20PSI at 6500rpm and thats with 10.1:1 compression. Not sure if your CFM will allow for such a high pressure. I'm excited to see it done and some numbers. Keep up the good work, looks sick.

PS: different colored bays will be back in "style" in 10 years again anyways

I just finally got the motor in wednesday. I'm waiting on my strada front to be done so the forward facing mani can be fabbed. It's at a stand still for now. I'm using neptune.

 

Being a b16, it will probably get revved to 10,500 at the very least so that may help some. We'll see what it does eventually.

so i lost my keys to the da or maybe one of my kids did .. oh well how much from a dealer to get one replaced? just bring in my title and lic and they will make me a key or do i have to wait to get one in the mail?
