its funny i got into a couple arguments with a neighboor across the street at my parents house lol guy was getting mad that we would work on cars in the garage/driveway, he called the city patrol once (city official that gives citations if breaking city rules) it ended up backfiring on him lol he got multiple citations and i got nothing, matt if u remember it was the fat white guy that looked like santa, the one that asked for us to change his brake pads lol

I'm not sure how I would react in this situation. I'd probably be just do them, get some money, and know that he won't call the cops on me again. But I wouldn't be happy about it.

 

Slippery slope there, then he will harass you about every little thing that is wrong with his car because YOU did the brake pads on it.

 

Ah, true. Yeah that's always a fear of mine when I work on someone's car. I change the brakes and notice the wheel bearing is trashed. I tell them. They don't want to spend $80 on a new one. They wreck the car because the wheel fell off. I'm the last person to work on the car. FUUUUUUUUUUUU.

 

Should make a written agreement listing out all the parts that are breaking, broken, or soon to break, and make the owner of the car sign it if they choose to fix it or not. Make a copy and store it for future references. It protects you, not only as an individual, but also as a business person (:

the cable housing looks good. i have the one from my last car that worked good. so i should just carry it around in the car for the time being. ive driven it a total of 150 miles so far without any hickups. hopefully that doesnt come back to bite me. im going to be getting under the car one of these nights to check everything out really good. vtec pops really ****ing hard. prolly just my exhaust but its loud as hell. (BC spec II)

 

Your VTEC "pops" because of the exhaust.

 

it just has this popping sound when it hits. maybe cause its screaming with no silencer. i hate the way the silencer sounds. sounds like an ebay exhaust. i have a T1R rear section from an ek that i might like to have fitted to the car. i actually have the whole 2.5 in T1R that might get put on eventually. the car will end up being a dd so i prolly will get really tired of it once i sell my crv.

 

Dang Leo, that sucks! Had similar issue with my last GSD. It is costly and man it was hell caring for him, he couldn't adjust to the cone either.
