DA Integra's Only
cleaned the head gasked, checked it very close, flipped it over and checked it again. also checked the head and block. spent like an hour looking at those 3. no i didnt put a new headgasket, i'm not gonna drive the car for a few days so its good. (how much is for a new one anyway?)
With a straight blade?
Like $60 or so.
Please put a new one on, please. It would be the dumbest idea ever to not spend the money and do it while its apart......... Like
didn't have a straight blade or anything i just looked very careful. im gonna hit up some of my buddys and ask if they got one and i'll check the head and the block, will also get a headgasket and put it on while everything is appart.
easy way to check block warpag and or head. you get a nice straight edge and some feeler gauges(.003-.004) and check the block in diagonal patterns, front to back, and side to side. if and place is larger than the .004 you need machine work.
for the head you need it to be less than .002. if it ranges from .002-.008 you need a resurface. but with the head you need to check the cam journal clearance and if it off you can't get the head repair you will need a new head

There's a chance that i might not be rolling with the northeast crew, i won't know until the end of may. There's a really good chance that i might be moving back to louisville. But if i don't i'll be meeting up on the turnpike at a rest stop like last year.
Maybe I'll have my car done by then and will venture out........
door panels yes headliner no too hard lol...(door panels) very easy and looks good if u take ur time..u can either remove the insert and use it to create ur patern or u can remove the insert and just attach it to the bare door panel..hopefully u understand me..ie if u have the cloth inserts they can be removed to expose leather..the insert has a harder bottom that u can use if u remove the cloth or u can attach ur material straight onto where the cloth was i had all black leather interior but previous owner rattle canned the inserts so i covered it with red material from walmart looked very good for 12buks..now im working on either tweed or carbon inserts
actually they are removable...if u have cloth inserts or leather they can be removed to expose the under leather whch can be easily cleaned and covered
