DA Integra's Only
Hey everyone i'm new to this and lookin for some advise on building my LS motor. what i'm going for is all motor, non-v, and non-turbo. i just want to do high comp pistons, rods, crank, and race or street cams, valves and springs. Can anyone help me out please.
With the money you would spend building the LS you could probably get a GSR swap and trans for close to the same price. Which in the end, the GSR would be a heck of a lot more fun to drive and give you a better platform to build up from.
I agree, it's really not worth it to build an LS motor anymore. Like Herb said, pick up a B16 trans and it will be a bit more fun to drive.

^^ lol sam
there was actually a guy on h-t that did a very mild ls all motor build and netted i believe 150-160 to the wheels and i think all he really did was a fresh rebuild and pistons. not much money spent and he was pretty happy with the outcome of it. not too bad if you ask me.
not trying to stir up a debate here, just stating what i saw/read/whatever
as for my opinion though, if you want to build an all motor LS, i would do some p30 pistons (should be roughly 11.5:1 compression), fresh rebuild of the bottom end obviously, keep the stock crank, skunk2 intake manifold, stock valves, some good dual valve springs, crower 404 cams, maybe a throttle body, a good header/exhaust, and a good tune with a gsr or b16 tranny. would be a lot of fun to drive over stock and still cheaper than a swap (assuming the work is done at by yourself and not have to pay for everything to be done). but hey, thats MY opinion

Are you gonna try to find the centercaps for them? They look good white! Clean your wheels every few days to keep them clean, I have all white wheels and they can really dirty fast and with the way the weather is combined with driving they can get stained if left dirty for to long. It sucks but it's worth not having ro refinish them
