I might start pulling the motor out to get it rebuilt and to get it ready for when i get the brakeline tuck done. I really want to boost the teg since it rarely will be driven. So i figure if i save some extra cash and visit pa every other month for a few days to work on it i should have it done by next spring. I'll be here until wed so i should be able to get a few things taken out. Throwback pic
do it, go boost, that would be dope, if you piece together a decent kit you could probably install it in a day no problem and just throw on a base map till you can tune
Whats the purpose of the car and why did you pick ITBS?
I would recommend going with a good manifold, throttle body and intake setup. Can be cheaper and make better power or similar power to ITBS.
Give me some specs on the motor and I can help.
the engine spec is at the end of this feature

mainly cause of the wire tuck id love polished ITBs but i wouldnt mind a wrinkle black intake?mabye skunk?i honestly dont know?
car will be a show car/weekend car.odd track day?..so be nice to have the power there if i need it
what you reccomend thanks
No, I'm putting the clutch in that I bought from ebay. I just haven't started it yet because I was doing other things and working on everyone else's cars and waiting for 4th of July to pass. Going to be starting on it today. I'm doing a YS1 build soon anyways so it doesn't matter. Just need the car running so I can drive and do the track event later this month.

Honestly for a stock B16, from a performance standpoint I would stick with what I mentioned and not ITBS. But if you're into the whole show thing I guess it will look cooler. At the end of the day it's your call.
If you do pick ITBS at least choose TWM, TODA or Jenvey.
Again for a stock B16 A skunk 2 would be sufficient, you could just paint it to match your preference. I like the Omni cast throttle bodies(less issues with them such as sticking), a 68mm will be fine, and a 2.5 inch pipe with a velocity stack kit on the end.
I also like the edelbrock performer X for all motor cars, I haven't seen any tests of that mani of a B16 but on mild GSRs it out performed all other manifolds.

What YS1?
