DA Integra's Only
Thank you for your search time lol I also found that picture but as you can see it is not a DA that is DC2 trunk...
and why would it be a waste of money? chassis stiffening is an excellentthing to do to your car especially the DA they flex so much. either way I just want to see where they bolt it to on the bumper side of the trunk... I am in the process of making my own.
Yes! Thank you! I love K1's on DA's, especially your car. The body is freakin' mint too! Super clean dude
If I de-torque the head I'm 100% positive the deck will be warped and I'll be forced to rip everything out and resurface it. I've got plans for a small 14b turbo setup so I'm looking to put in new rod and main bearings, some ARP main studs and rod bolts, and new rings.

Why are you 100% sure?!
Taking the head off correctly will not warp anything at all, so you're saying you know the block or head is off and you're still going to proceed?
And if you are then you're not helping yourself by leaving it alone.
Your only going to spend money on a sub par turbo setup only to blow up/hurt the motor worse, instead of spending that money and time on getting the motor healthy first.

I've been told by a number of mechanics and teachers that an inline engine block or head can warp while they are torqued together but wont actually twist and cause a problem until the head is removed. I'm doing a budget build so avoiding any unforseen expenses is a must.
