on a side note, last week some stupid people broke in to my car and didn't take any..lol.. I think he's trying to find money or something to steal, good thing I always take off the stereo face plate when ever I park the car.. and then the next two days just as when I was about to warm up the car in the morning, I see this two dents on the driver side quarter panel.. they didn't feel bad for my car given that it's already rusted and has faded paint...

pics. of the dent:

theres no need to respond with such a smartass comment that you said to him. and when you said ff i thought you meant with a front wheel drive car. didnt know you meant ff coilovers. so sorry for the misunderstanding. i dont really care how many sus setups youve had in your life. ive met people that have had over 10 cars and a **** ton of setups and are still retarded!

and for the valving of the shocks, the ek's weight is very close to a da. if anything my car is lighter than most ek's out there. i removed about 30lbs from the front of the car and about 30-50lbs from the rear. there would be no need for me to get a set of da shocks if i get the top-hats. it would be more cost effective for me seeing as how i have no money right now. next time someone asks a question why dont you pull the tampon out of your *** and be a little nicer with your response. just cause you have 14k posts doesnt give you a reason to be a dick!

Speaking of cali, i will be taking a trip to la, san diego and sacramento in either may or june. One of my roomates is from sacramento, so i'm basically tagging along with him for a few days and then renting a car to meet up with some friends that moved out there from pa that i haven't seen it like 10 years. I should be around any of those areas for about two weeks lol.

ive been searhing for a job for months. i have not bought a part for my car in over 4 months. i still have enough parts laying around to build another car from my past cars and my brothers wrecked car, so dont worry about my job situation. its none of your business! i was just stating i didnt have the money or the need to go out and buy a whole new set of koni yellows.

the guy asked a simple question and i was just saying there is no need to be a dick. when i talked to herb (hb420) he said your a nice guy from what he experienced with you, so i know you have it in you. so juust answer the kids question with a calm response. all of us didnt know sshit about cars at some point in our lives. i hate how people on this site are so quick to be a dick to someone asking a question. you could have just said "no need for tops hats. those coilovers will go as low as a da can handle." THATS IT! so just chill out, smoke a bowl and be nice. or dont answer his question and just ignore him.

and when it comes to my suspension i didnt ask the question. so dont worry about my setup. it works great and i havent had a problem yet. i just would like to buy extended top hats in the future and the ek struts will work as good as a set of da konis and go just as low.

i think extended top hats would be a smart idea for any suspension set up if you want to go low and still have some shock travel, made a world of difference on my car

i really only need them for the front of my car. i could go lower in the rear with out worring about bottoming out but the front def needs them just cause of the weight. while ive been driving it ive hit a few dips that put the shocks to the test. i still didnt feel the bump stops. i have them cut down to just one section. this is how its sitting now and i could go a little bit lower.

no im saying it handled the dips really well. there were a couple that i though would be bad and it was fine. i want the top hats so i can go much lower. i want to go about an inch lower at least. but the height of the shocks will only let me go another 1/2 inch. what do the top hats give you? 2"?
