DA Integra's Only
I rode in a GTR once and then an ACR Viper maybe two weeks later. Honestly, the ACR was more of a rush that the GTR because it was so raw. No traction control, no ABS, no torque-sensing AWD, just raw power and wide tires.
quick question, im looking into full coilovers and was wondering how function form type 1's ride? or should i just get the 2's? or what other suggestions do you guys have? not trying to spend over a thousand
Has anyone used a 96-00 civic coupe or hatch exhaust on there DA9? Im curious as to any fitment issues you might have had going through exhaust tunnel and over the rear lca. Yes i know it exits on the opposite side. Any factual info would be great! Thanks
p.s. knowledge dont reply thanks!

I've had friends that rode on both coilovers, the type 1s ride good, the type IIs are supposed to ride really good, if you have the cash go for the type II's, but im sure if you pick up the type 1's you'll be satisfied
I had a hard time deciding between the ones and twos, but someone said if its gonna be a DD just go with the ones (i was on a budget at that time) so unless you have the extra cash and like to have more options go with the twos.

Thats great Kyle, I'm jealous! I would have been ****-my-pants nervous, I've never driven something that expensive or something that fast. Just sucks that there was so much traffic (especially the slow-movers, wtf was an SUV doing out there!?) and that guy was there bossing you around. I'm sure it would be nice to have an instructor since you don't know the car or the track, but seemed like he was having you brake way early. But maybe that's just what it looks like from the vid. How was it using the paddle shifters? I've never used paddle shifters on a true performance car and as simple as the idea is it seems like it'd be very strange at first.
He was having me brake early for sure. There was maybe one point where I got on the brakes 100% as hard as I could.
Paddle shifters were cooler than I expected. Only issues I could see would be that the GTR revs so fast through gears that you still might be exiting a turn when you want to shift and the paddles aren't the easiest things to hit when the wheel is turned.
I was super adrenaline high after I got off the track and was jittery for the whole hour drive back from Fontucky. It took two Chimay blues to calm me down.

HAHA. I'm used to driving a normal manual transmission car and using heel-toe to downshift. That way I'm ALWAYS braking before I downshift no matter what. Since downshifting was as easy as flipping a paddle, I kept downshifting before I could even hit the brakes.
Wipers add 50 horsepower in the straights.
Nothing, it's all factory.

Dammmm nice catback!!! so hard to come by.. =[
Can anyone help me out with an exhaust set-up that has a low deep rumble that wont attract cops? (Something close to a g35)
Yes, i have searched day and night and found nothing... and i figured asking here would be a good idea since it's the DA thread.
please and thanks!

I'm asking $700 shipped. If you want a killer set-up, there's no question between this and a log manifold.
Nice video kyle, and lol at the instructer... he would of drove me crazy if i were there lol. The most expensive car i've ever driven is my friends maserati grand sport, i use to talk **** about the paddle shifting but when it's in a car with real power it's night and day. One day i'll hopefully get to drive a gtr
especially if you got discovery lap(s). showed this to a friend and we agreed after the first two laps we would tell him to shut it and ride. (they have brake marker cones) then his only use would be to tell when ppl needed to pass.
maybe dumb q but wouldnt it be better to mount the paddle shift ON the wheel? then no matter turning or what you can click it.

I have the type ones and the ride is very comfortable for a daily driver. The suspension is pretty stiff as well, so if the roads suck then its gonna be bumpy. Also if the railroad crossing suck your car is going to jump around. Im pretty sure other non dampening coils have this problem too but i cant really prove that because the type ones where my first coils.

Probably not. All of the cars are like that; Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin, etc. It's so you can't shift while turning and lose control or upset your balance. They make it so you can only turn so much while shifting.

I didn't look at my speedometer even once, but I'm thinking I got up to 140mph on the straight.
Yeah, at first he said Porsche but he corrects himself. The white car that I passed was the only Porsche there.
The other cars there were the Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Gallardo, Lamborghini Murcielago, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera 4S, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage (and the pro in the Z06).

What kind of driver's seat is that?
****... MattyG2 has gone kart racing with me. I think one time I was in the zone putting down fast laps and his brother spun me out. I swear I went psycho and started yelling through my helmet in an instinctive rage. I've scared the **** out of people on the kart track plenty of times. Cars make me turn into this completely different (insane) person.
This would be the reason I don't trust myself to get another car. That GTR video is making me want to put some of the old videos of me having ADD in my DA on YouTube.
