kNOwLedGe. what was your motor setup in your DA

 

I haven't been going karting lately. We need to get a group of folks to hit up K1 Anaheim. I don't like the new layout nearly as much as I liked the OG one, but I can manage...

It was just a JDM '92 Integra XSi OBD1 B16A with bolt-ons and a reprogrammed P28. It ran abnormally strong for what it was. You'll see if I post any of the archived videos I have.

I never even ONCE raced my DA from a dead stop. I quit that before I got my DA and never looked back...

 

yeah that b16 would be hard to get off the line but im sure once its going its gone, post up some vids so i can peep

 

I never raced against anyone else in the DA, but it's not hard to get a B16A off the line in a street drag race. You just have to have the *****/skills to launch it at 6,000RPM. It has no power before then.

I'll post videos one of these days. They were mostly just for my amusement only, because they're just videos taken with my camera mount of me listening to music and dicking around public roads/freeways like an irresponsible derelict.

I don't want you guys to make fun of me.

 

After teh kNOwLedGe gave me a ride in his DA back a while ago I was struck with the bug for VTEC in the DA. I have a lot of videos of those instances smashin' through LA too, I keep them for my own amusement of course.

 

I remember my cammed, slightly high cmp B16 with bolt ons..... Used to beat up on my buddies S2k.

 

I miss my gsr swapped crx that i had in 99-01 lol, that was a fun car. I need some power when i get my Da back on the road.

herb you had a gsr-rex? damn that is nice, I kinda miss my ls-vtec that I had in the gsr, but I am glad I am gsr-turbo now.

the new motor is a b18c darton sleeved,10.1 wisco pistons with turbo tuff rods.we are takeing the old turbo set up off and useing a topmount and 40r turbo lol

 

What about the head?
Wheh man, 40r. After driving various cars with various turbo sizes I think I will always stay on a small turbo, maybe 35r at the largest.
I love my little turbo now, boost comes in quick and makes ok powa!
