Enkei 92<Mugen mr5 is the mr5's are a complete set, with no lug caps they're worth nothing. But we'll see how i like them once i finish polishing them and they're not ugly anymore, im sure that'll change my view on them

I thought you bought lugcaps? Don't you have the center caps at least? Either way Mugen MR5 > Enkei 92 any day.

i was gonna buy the lug caps, but i started putting all my money towards baby savings, i figured lug caps< food and clothes for my son. Thats why im only straight trading right now and polishing my own wheels, no spare cash to put on top or pay for work done on the wheels. i would love to actually just get barrels for the mr5s and make them maybe 8" with a 2-2.5" lip, but thats $1200 that i cant be spending right now haha

understand what I mean?
Cool thanks, just read about the problems with the GM sensor, def gonna stay away!
Think I will just spend the money and go with the Omni Map and Hondata Solenoid. A bit more money but better in the end, for the map I prefer plug and play, that way I'm not hacking up my harness.

eh, there isnt any paint on the faces of mine, they're supposed to be silver, but the paint is gone, the lips have peeling clear on them, so i figured ill just strip and polish the entire wheel, it was between that and painting the faces black, they could really use some work though

Damn i wish i could see the picture you posted, i cant view it from work. that width and offset is a little too crazy for me, i dont want to slam my car again, but i bet i could probably fit that set up hahah

Are you trying to paint 'em silver, or more of a chrome type color? Silver in general is really hard to get to look good, and I wouldn't recommend painting your wheels silver, but if you do I'd try Duplicolor Wheelpaint.

i had reservations about duplicolor because it seems cheap.

i went with Rusto Professional "stainless steel" i really like the way they came out...il post pics when im done. its like a darker silver.

I just put a few things back together quickly to get an idea of what it would look like. I painted the motor 3 times with different shades of silver and wasn't happy with any of them so i figured i would try something completely different. I won't know if i really like it until i repaint the bay. I'll be prepping the bay tommorrow and hopefully painting it by next week

That's where my lip went! I was always a fan of your car. Sad to see that you sold it. What plans do you have now? I remember seeing a while back that you were building a motor & had a Bisi header.

My new wheel set up for now. Debating if I should move the 16x8.5 up front and rebarreling the fronts to 16x9 to go on the rear. hmmmm...
