That depends on your spring rates.

You can get Ground Control springs in almost any spring rate.

lmao but that must be the OTS kits only. It's still GC using Eibach springs.

Exactly...it all depends on what you have ridden in and what you are used to...and of course as the Knowledgeable son as pointed out so affordably, the "spring rate"

Ive been reading all the suspension posts in here..Im about to order a new setup...I found the vedor selling ksports for 724 shipped...or the koni with extended top hats are 899...Im assuming to go with the koni kit...my 2 questions are are the top hats worth it? and what spring rates do you think i should go with...mostley drag racing with street driving..thinking 12k in rear?

First off...are you talking about a left hand drive or a right hand drive assembly? The left hand drive assembly does NOT match with the right hand drive assembly. Contact Hasport...they should have something for what you are looking for...I believe International Motorsports might also make the same thing you are looking for...just check around ma man...I can ask my mech if you need help further

Check your fan switch and wiring first. Also, make sure you temperature sender is reading the temperature otherwise the fan won't turn on. Wiring up the fan to stay on is wack.

If you're going to be dumped why not get the extended top hats? Why not spend a little more to get quality anyway? Go with the Koni/GC setup. I'm assuming you have upgraded mounts and stiffening in the chassis for your drag setup? It's all up to you what rates you need, no one can tell you what to get.

i feel that those function forms are okay now ( )they allow me to dump my car to the ground with out bottoming out the shock, (yes i still bottom out the upper control arms)

with the ground controls when i dumped my car i was scared to blow the struts since the lower id go the more shock travel i would lose, even with having the extended tophats

so now id recommend either one, but im still testing out my FF, hopefully they last
and i dont think it was too bad of a purchase ($400)

My Omni's are 10/12k and see the same use your looking for, they are tolerable on the street.

Is your fan spinning the right way.
Let you car idle, once it warms up the fan should come on, does it?
I wouldn't wire it on all the time, car will never reach optimum temperature. Sure in the summer it may be ok but your really only masking a real issue!

dude. the muscle cars go up there and ruin test and tune every week. I refuse to pay $10 to watch someone clean up a antifreeze spill.

I think i'll go with the Illuminas for now.

I heard that ground control top hats are a little loose with tokico shocks so i might just do custom tophats.
what do you guys think?

from the way that he explained his steps i believe that is the way he went..but there is no need to pry the cover off u can just take out the button off..u risk breaking the buttons cover and the button its self if u pry the cover off
