Make a nice sealed box for it. For that price you really can't complain though

Ported is loud bass that sounds like crap. Sealed isn't as lound but has nice tight bass, they are made for nice sound quality. My box sits inside of the spare tire and takes up no room at all

b20 add some aftermarket rods/bolts, basically its between the 1.7 1.8 and 2.0 vtec right? 2.0 all day, if anything keep the b17 block stock for the future

Uhh not necessarily true.....
All 3 of those motors will make power.
If this is your first motor I may recommend getting someone to help you build it. I def wouldn't recommend a B20 because your going to want to rev the **** out of it and well frankly it wouldn't last long...

Thats not necessarily true, my friend has a stock block and head b20vtec thats been running for about 6 years, no problems at all. And its daily driven and tracked. Ran 12.8 in a crx and 14.0 in an ef wagon.

I wouldnt rev any stock head up to 8500, thats why lsvtec and b20vtec motors blow early

its not the head that fails, its the bearings that let go. thats why most people at the very least put acl bearings in and/or arp rod bolts. the stock rod bolts like to stretch at higher rpms causing the bearings to spin

Notice I said Rev it though, this advice is for a kid who said he revved his B16 to 9500, get where I was going? Trying to save him time and money!

Highly doubt you were revving your B16 to 9500, MAYBEEEEEEEEEEEE once then it blew up!
Have fun blowing that ls bottom end up at 8500 rpm's too!
