According to that chart the ys1 gsr tranny has shorter gear ratios than the b16 cable trannys, is this information accurate?

That comes out as a unit. It's attached to a wire that goes to the blower which selects which hoses to send the air through and which ones to block off. I've never actually removed it by itself but I think you need to get under it and remove that wire. The wire isn't like a radio wire, it's a hard wire like a strip of metal. Big PITA especially if you have to work under the dash. Be warned, you might have to remove the dash and a few other parts of the blower to actually get it out though.

A YS1 GS-R transmission is the same thing as a 91-92 B16A cable transmission. Also, there are two different variants of the 89-90 B16A transmissions: those that came from an Integra RSi/XSi and those that came from a Civic/CR-X SiR.
Just know that a (short version) YS1 is the shortest cable transmission you can find, and you have your answer.
ok cool, cause i found one for $350 no grinds or pop outs im gonna try to pick it up tomorrow, and i found a complete b20 long block from attarco for $400, gonna pick that up too
How do you know it has no grinds or pop outs? Unless you've tested it on the car or actually opened it up and checked specs, I wouldn't take anybodies word for it. Expect to pay another several hundred dollars rebuilding it if you haven't checked it out and really know it's in good condition.
ok thats the same with buying any used transmission, of course theres no gaurantees. If it has grinds or pop outs then i know where to find him.
On another note, my car is a 90-91, his tranny is a 92-93 so it has a different clutch, my question is, would the pressure plate from my current clutch work for his clutch?
