DA Integra's Only
If you get a state ref ticket you can pay the $600 fine if you cant figure out a way to pass. But for that reason is why im keeping my ls motor as a spare to swap back in if anything happens
With all that money you would spend if you had the ticket wouldn't it make more sense just to get something legal so you don't pay for all those extra problems that would come along with having something that will never be legal? I guess you got it all covered though.
damn that sucks in cali, I am glad our laws aren't as bad as yours, I love cruising around la and malibu, I rented a car when I was there last time and never got lost, those crazy *** windy roads are so fun, too bad I was in a gay *** 06 galant
honestly, i dont really give a **** about cops. if i get pulled over i get pulled over. It would be much more expensive to bore out an ls block and build it to 2.0L. I'd rather just have a clean well running b20 vtec set up and go from there. Up here alot of people have swaps now. Only like 5% of those people are bar'd
I hear you dave, nothin but fun roads out here. When I was in Murryleeen (Maryland) I did nothin but sneeze because of all the trees around there lol.
i wanna start tuning up my suspension later i was thinking about getting some matching ST sways do i need the rear subframe brace or w.e for that?
or should i just try to get my hands on a rear ITR sway cause thats cheaper.
im lookin for the biggest bang for the buck

If you could only do a little searching and reading you would own the world. The ST bars don't need anything to mount, it uses stock mounting hardware. The ITR is not a direct bolt-on to the DA. So, it's up to you. The ST bar will mount right up, the ITR will require drilling/making mounts etc... but it is 22mm usdm and 23mm for the jdm version, while the ST bar is 19mm.
yeah ive seen the ITR install on G2ic but im looking for the biggest bang for the buck i feel like if i found some ITR rears on CL it would be cheap i found one one time 50 bucks much better than like 150 for ST.
but how would it feel to have a huge 22mm sway in the rear and stock in the front? bad?

hey matty...quick question for ya since you're all about suspension...
i've got the st bars for my da, front is already installed. i know on different model cars some people say the rear bar either really helps, or actually hurts it. how do you feel about it for the da?? *i hope that made sense lol

From my experience after putting on my front ST bar, it helped the front feel way more solid, it leans a lot less in the turns and reacts very quickly than the stock bar with stock bushings though. Since, I put on the front bar with the new poly bushings that came with it, that could of probably helped the feel too. My opinion is that I like having the ST front bar even though it's solid rather than the stock hollow bar. It's all about balance, I wouldn't want my rear super stiff while my front is weak and sloppy then it already is. The ST bar helps put a more solid feel, but it might increase under steer in certain situations.
yeah my front st bar is also on stock bushings. i bought both bars new but the guy didnt have any of the hardware that came with them. id really like to get the hardware thats supposed to be with them though. the rear bar is still sitting in my room staring at me every time i come in my room. i just wanna know if its really worth putting it on or not
Random post, but da related. lol. So im texting my gf, and i told her with our new plans i wont be able to buy another car to use as a dd. She replies by saying that its too bad cause my car is dangerous and she wants me to be safe. So i ask her why, she replies again and says "it's too small, a distraction to other cars, and too low. i like your car cause it looks like an oreo, but thats it. i hate everything else about it"
made me chuckle. lol.
made me chuckle. lol.
I have only ST rear on my car and it was the best bang for the buck mod I've ever done. It changed the handling of the car, which was already on coilovers, very dramatically.
Hmm all this talk may make me justify spending $300 on some sway bars. They would make my car feel very tight around corners. I mean my stiff suspension and LSD do enough already!
i need to get the bushings that are supposed to be with it since i didnt get them with mine. guy only had the bars
i only spent $50 on my bars! so i cant complain about not getting the bushings with them lol
