Im not trying to start any arguments but in my car over 400whp I love my ls...I have had others trannys...b17/b16/ls...the ls is my personal fav...I drive on trips do 80mph and im at like 3500rpm

I went faster than 110 in my DA with a b16 motor and trans. the b16 trans in the del slo and EM1 go to almsot 140. y'all are just wrong on info.

 

Yes...Ive looked all over and the cheapest I spotted the new race acl's are 86 on ebay...do you have a site or where did you get them that cheap?

 

uh actually, I think I got them on some type of clearance last time from ERL, so you are probably right.

 

x2 I just drove my friends ef this year with all b16 setup I did over 110 I had to go into 5th gear but i went over 110 though lol

I never knew how fast I was going in my DA once I was over the 190 km/h on my speedometer. I would just bury the needle past where the gauge read and knew that I was going too fast.

I had to have taken it to at least 135 mph...

 

i know the hydro b16s will go that high. idk...what the deal was with the ones i heard of topping out so soon. hell, its been years since they were even around now...

 

lol my ls tranny let me get up to 140-145

nah i didnt know that, i like the ys1 because its easier to get parts to build the tranny. my y1 is so hard to get parts for, thats why i picked up my j1.

i need the 3rd gear set for the y1 and the 1-2 sleeve and 3-4 sleeve

That's exactly what it was, 4th gear ends around 108-110 on the B16 transmission.

 

Did I mention how much I ****ing hate snow, had to clean the 2 feet off the DA last night because I was afraid the roof would cave in LoL!

 

i want to swap a f20b in my da. any suggestions?

 

i've heard that a gsr tranny with an ls fifth gear was the best for boost? could i get a recommendation for my next project? I don't know much about trannys to mix and match.
