DA Integra's Only
and you wanna go boost? get used to spending more nights breaking things and pushing cars around.
i raced my CRX everytime i drove it and it never broke. and the current owner beats on it more then i did. never had any engine or drivetrain issues. and it whoops on GSR-T all the time. just a stock K20Z1.
thats why i think its funny when people complain that their stock ls vtec ended up blowning in a couple years, you're using a STOCK motor from a STOCK acura and you race around speeding all the time, of course its going to blow
Yes sir, so you def going?
I'll be there all bundled up!
Went to Capitol last night man was it cold, I had on an T, Thermal, hoodie and jacket, with gloves and a beanie and was still freezing.
Testing my buddies Eclipse, 1st pass went 12.1 @ 120, raised the limiter, launch rpm and threw in a few more lbs of boost off the line for the next run, blew out a damn freeze plug.
Had to push it up a big *** hill on the return lane and wait 2 hours for a tow

and lol, dsm's are known for blowin freeze plugs all the damn time
EXACTLY! either way you look at it, sooner or later you're gonna pay if you wanna play
well it just depends on how you treat the car, we have a bone stock b20 vtec that hit 12's in a crx thats been running for 5 years already and its a daily driver, only raced occasionaly
right. just gotta maintain it correctly and you'll def. increase your odds against something happening. still doesn't mean it wont ever happen, but if the right steps are takin, you can greatly prolong the life of your car/engine. you treat it right, and it'll treat you right. old saying but still stands true.
....If you spend the money and build them right you wont break as much as you thinkOH yeah and thats on an lsvtec...i dont see why some guys think lsvtec is bad you tap and plug a tiny hole and add an oil line to the head...Ive ran a couple and never had any issues due to lsvtec
Hey andy!! I want to go to MIR but its kinda a drive for me (3hours) and its kinda cold lol

Yea I'm tired of hearing about how terrible Ls/Vtecs are!!!! Its soo rampant in the Integra thread its annoying. People don't know how to build motors, build them like **** and they blow up but those few dont mean all Ls/Vtec motors are garbage and will blow up. I also have been running mine for 5 or so years, only major issues was a head gasket and I'd say thats pretty damn good for a car thats only beat on and raced.
Also the whole drag race arguement is what it is, some people have cars that break, some dont, turbo or not, **** happens eventually!
See you all at MIR.
