thats not true..... depends on how its built and how its tuned. All motors are different anddddd blowing out a freeze plug is a fluke.

blowing stuff with boost is never a fluke. especially not things like couplings, and engines.

thats why i think its funny when people complain that their stock ls vtec ended up blowning in a couple years, you're using a STOCK motor from a STOCK acura and you race around speeding all the time, of course its going to blow

right. just gotta maintain it correctly and you'll def. increase your odds against something happening. still doesn't mean it wont ever happen, but if the right steps are takin, you can greatly prolong the life of your car/engine. you treat it right, and it'll treat you right. old saying but still stands true.

My car has been turbo and daily driven for the past 3 years(when its not snowing) Ive only had to tow my car 2 times...I put down almost 150 passes last year and about 50 this year...and the only reason I broke was due to indians and watering down there damn 93oct ....If you spend the money and build them right you wont break as much as you think

OH yeah and thats on an lsvtec...i dont see why some guys think lsvtec is bad you tap and plug a tiny hole and add an oil line to the head...Ive ran a couple and never had any issues due to lsvtec

Hey andy!! I want to go to MIR but its kinda a drive for me (3hours) and its kinda cold lol

JJ shut up and join us! LoL

Yea I'm tired of hearing about how terrible Ls/Vtecs are!!!! Its soo rampant in the Integra thread its annoying. People don't know how to build motors, build them like **** and they blow up but those few dont mean all Ls/Vtec motors are garbage and will blow up. I also have been running mine for 5 or so years, only major issues was a head gasket and I'd say thats pretty damn good for a car thats only beat on and raced.

Also the whole drag race arguement is what it is, some people have cars that break, some dont, turbo or not, **** happens eventually!

See you all at MIR.

I wonder how many DA's have front brakes similar to how mine were?

I can't believe they were still working...and being worked extremely hard also.
