look mattb16teg. your being a total jackass. everyone on this thread isn't looking for OH LEET ****ING POWER GAINS. its called personal tastes. If you can't help him with his damn post then don't respond with negative comments.

I don't see it as such but to each his own. Fella asked a question but wants to put a velocity stack on his car with no filter, silly choice period. I was trying to help him answer his question.
What is LEET?
If you aren't looking for power gains why get/ask about a velocity stack in the first place?
ok i asked IF there was a velocity stack with a filter in it
if you would LOOK AT THE PICTURE you would see that mesh inside
you started repping bpi which isnt bad but you werent answering my question
done

You initial question wasn't that specific and I answered it the most logical way. Guess next time I will just keep my knowledge and help to myself............
x2
Plus, if you think about it, any sort of intake you slap on your car isn't going to give you a NOTICEABLE power gain...just makes your vtak sound louder when it kick in lol.

I have a DA with a B16A swap and i still have the stock PR4 ECU so I'm not kicking VTEC and now the idle just started jumping from 1000 to 2500 rpms, I cleaned the IACV didn't stop it what should i do next
is it when its hot, cold or always?
is the tb getting stuck, how about the tb screw?
is the tps plugged in?
any vaccum leaks?
Well I took the car to one of my boys in utah and when he looked at the ecu there were like 4 wires that were not hooked up so he hooked them up and the idle jumped about 3 times and never did it again until about a month and a half later
Would you be able to point them out using the connector # from this diagram:

Hmm also make sure you find out what ecu he was using to run the ZC because those are non-vtec.
hey this might be a dumb question, but i had a halfcore from a del sol si (like ive read everywhere to get) and it would not fit like yours did. the bottom of the radiator hit the crossmember and stuck up above the radiator support. anyone have any tips for me? turbo, a/c, ps, and a full core radiator makes things a little crowded

less drama more da's.
