good call brice. i think they were on the 9-3 or 9-5...i cant remember which, or maybe it was both. but they are very nice factory front mounts. i was gonna buy one at the junk yard one day but it was messed up. could also try an srt4 oem front mount. they're pretty small as well.

yes, you can use the half rad but it will require some modification to get it to mount in nicely

thanks. like i said, i didn't modify anything. all i had to do was move the lower radiator hose protection further down to protect it in case it would rub on the front cross member. i used the stock bushings for my mountings and stock bracket for the top. tighten that thing down, and it wasn't going anywhere.

why? its not astronomical difference on a stock LS. who cares? maybe on a real track car that would make sense.

Ive seen it done before too, but to build a reliable ls, im willing to bet a 400whp ls motor doesnt last as long as say an ls/vtec or semi built..get what im saying...I have friends thats makin alomost 700whp on my motor setup but their rebuilding there cars after a couple months lol

not gonna argue the longevity of a 400hp stock ls. thats wasn't my point. just said it was done, thats all. but 250 will last quite a while. its all good jj *no homo! lol

nope. sure didn't. lol. i didn't see the need to do that. i had a 10" jvt fan, and it cooled pretty good. i didn't have any over heating issues at all.

Where is there an air filter inside of that?!

Take a look at BPI's website, there are also several posts on here where you can see the positive gains.

Looks like they wrapped mesh over the open portion of the intake then fit a stack over it, nothing special.

yea now I see it, that's retarded IMO.
It looks beast? ohhhhhhh where do we begin?
Look more closely at those threads and the BPI site, their filter/stack combo is proven to make more power then just a stack.
