Nah, I have to edit that, I was working on it, already got the engine and a few pats for the swap, but I rather go with the DA chassis for it, and maybe later do that 87 hatch too, for now, Im jobless, so things are moving maaaaaad slow...

 

BTW, I do have a friend in Australia that has an 85 hatch with a K20R on it, 11.67 @ 116.55mph

Nope, no slicks with those times, now, for the next local event there are some slicks tires for it, we hoping to see some really low 11s with them on...

maybe bfgs or somthing...Im willing to put money the he isnt going 11s on street tires...I have had a couple fast setups and cant get close to those times on street tires...And the mph is showing for low 60fts which doesnt match street tires...

 

I wanna see more myself , I dont dig the mirrors but the rest is nice.

 

In any other time I would´ve taken that bet, however, since I don´t want to present myself to other as Ray the Assh*le, Im going to say, 11.6 on some BFGs, eventhou, I seen the proyect car from ground up and seen the times and all kinds of setups on it...

But you´re right man, no street tires there...

 

got the new honda tuning in the mail today...has a small feature on a clean *** db2 with an old skool kaminari body kit and boosted b17! pretty sweet lookin. havent gotten to read it yet though

 

If you can take pictures at it, that would be sweet (its hard to get your hands on some Honda magazines here)

im pretty sure i know which one you're talking about and i wasnt impressed with it at all. not for all the money that was spent on it. they were bragging about how good the car was for the money he spent and im sorry, but i could've built that car a lot better for a lot less. like i said, i wasnt impressed at all. was very disappointed for sure

 

Yeah, I feel ya, I did read the article and there was a lot of braggin bout parts and money, but overall, I liked the car itself... (it had visors, lol)

Well, since Im here in DR (Lil´Japan) you could do it on that budget, I mean, we get mad JDM parts straight from Japan almost every week (several containers w/junkyard parts come in) not a whole lot of DA parts come in, but you can order them from this people, and parts here would go for way cheaper then what you guys in the states pay...

I been out of the states for about 4 years, and the economy there sucks big time now, so I would not know if thats a good amount budget to build something like that, but here, I think you could (missing on some parts maybe)
