Re: DA Integra's Only
yes.
I couldn't get an s2000 if i wanted to, i am too tall. haha
i would rather have a fast car that i built with my own hands then buy a prebuilt car or a stock "cool" rig.
plus i love my TL for my daily. couldn't be happier with that.

Re: DA Integra's Only
Really? How tall are you? My best friend drives an S2000 and he's 6'2" 240lbs.
The kind of fast car you're building seems like it's only useful on a drag strip with slicks or doing 3rd gear pulls on the highway. It would be hard for me to spend $15K on something that I can't enjoy on a nice curvy road, but like thay say, "some people think cucumbers taste better pickled."
TLs are really nice cars. How do you swing spending $15K on the DA and have a TL as a daily? Do you just make good money, or do you live with parents?

im 6 foot 7 280 pounds. im not a small dude.
I am building my DA to race at the track, thats the whole point of my build. The teg will still be able to be driven where ever, the power would just be turned down.. just because it will make good power doesn't mean it always has to be there, thats why i got a quad stage boost controller. i'll rock 350whp on the streets with my MT DR's in the front, that equals a hella fun street car.
TL= Loan=build credit. im 21, i have a good job, i work hard as **** for my money, and i enjoy spending it. i live at home but in 3 years i will have enough saved with my gf to get a house.
lifes good i guess.

DAMN! I'm surprised you fit into a DA.
That's dope. What LSD are you running in the car?

Tomorrow i get my azenis so i can see how the car looks dumped on the barney wheels.
I am going to attempt that full blown dual pump hanger this weekend. i heard its a real bitch to get in.

You can't really compare buying stuff that is everywhere and dirt cheap in cali to Pa where i have to buy stuff online. Most of the money was spent replacing everything that was broke in the interior which was my whole interior exept for the dash board and anything that needed to be fixed or replaced with the car. New front bumper, and hood then getting them repainted. 4 new calipers, braided brake lines, new rotors and pads, master cylinder. Full tuneup including new timing belt kit. Paid to have timing belt kit get done at a shop. 1 set of azenis tires and 1 set of ziex tires. One piece headlights and 92 tailights, recaro seats and harness. I just bought koni and ground controls. The cat and the entire exhaust was replaced. I have $1500 in receipts from my double din radio, amp and mb quart componets that i didn't add in. The work wheels, jacnifes, bbs wheels, aftermarket steering wheel, wheel berings, new radiator. I had a b18b and a b16 head with everything to do ls-v but i sold it. That stuff was used and i didn't have a receipt for it so i didn't add that to the price. New battery, alarm and remote start combo, dc sides. I could write another paragraph about all of the little things i bought and didn't add to the price because they were bought used.

Re: DA Integra's Only
plan to build mostly for the strip, but want it to be a nice street car as well. thats why i will also have a multi-stage boost controller.
Re: DA Integra's Only
i initially spent about the same amount as you did for the same swap, and all the stuff that is on my DA. that has since gone up a little bit since i threw in my poorman's itr setup. nothing was wrong with the obd1 xsi motor, i mean it made some decent numbers with just bolt-ons and hondata. this new setup has so far proven to be pretty reliable and pretty strong, even with frequent weekend commutes from yuma to 29 palms CA. i can't wait to see how it does on a road course and the drag strip....daily driven, weekend warrior FTW!!

Re: DA Integra's Only
the camera makes it look much better then it really is though.. i had the car for almost a year and a half. I honestly think i washed it 6 times and i never waxed it.
as soon as the weather breaks i am going to clay it and buff it. then i should be happy with it.
