DA Integra's Only
Well, since Im here in DR (Lil´Japan) you could do it on that budget, I mean, we get mad JDM parts straight from Japan almost every week (several containers w/junkyard parts come in) not a whole lot of DA parts come in, but you can order them from this people, and parts here would go for way cheaper then what you guys in the states pay...
I been out of the states for about 4 years, and the economy there sucks big time now, so I would not know if thats a good amount budget to build something like that, but here, I think you could (missing on some parts maybe)

Oh def. really love them TEG TIPS, did several things to my old DAs from there... I just don´t know, why that site is so I dunno, not popular like you mention or just not that kool... It´s a lot usefull with the info there thou...
I think it started dying down once all the OG's started to leave. I check it out every once in a while but mostly if I need to search for something specific to the DA I go there first.
idk herb, the car is clean, but not THAT clean. look at the rhd conversion, its butched! someone i used to be friends with did 2 rhd conversions on eg hatch's with no previous experience, and they both looked factory when they were done. you couldnt tell. as soon as i look at the pics of that car from under the hood i instantly saw how rough it was. i almost didnt buy the magazine because of how much they bragged it up and what i saw.
im not denying there are quality parts, but i still dont agree with the out come with as much money as was put into it. but i never have agreed with the amount of money most people put into their cars when buying parts. plus i do all my own work (minus paint, welding, and tuning. which i plan to buy a welder very soon and my friend paints). and i know a lot of people will probably flame me for this, but i HATE the wheels with a passion!

I don't think they left, the might not post as much because some of the newbs on the site are annoying as **** with all the bickering and stupid threads. And with the older age comes more responsabilities
just my thoughts.
it just makes me mad because you see fake wheels with stickers on them that try to make them look real...and at first you think they are real but then disappointed to see they arent... now why would you want people to be disappointed with your wheels... just leave them as rotas... then no ones gonna have high expectations of your wheels.

I have a friend with a clean set of CP-Fs Ima tell him to leave them wheels here for a weekend for some pics on the DA... And after that with some CP-Rs (he just got those today)...
idk man, im just not big on that many spokes at all. that might be the ONLY car i somewhat like them on.
see above reasons^^ lol i like more of a simplistic look i guess. i've just never been into a lot of spokes unless its a mesh design.
