some clean DA

 

Wing was a VIS carbon fiber replica of the mugen wing. the front was more then just a little fiberglass. major alterations were made to the Hood, Fenders, Bumper, Radiator support, custom brackets, minor alterations to the frame rails, wiring, battery relocation, intake setup change, Power steering removal, windshield fluid system removed. Alot of ******* work, all done by myself and to see it just stripped and sold to some expletive for $700 which is what I paid for the headlights alone is sickening.

here is the update i have recieved, a car was spoted with my front end on it primered.

Ok here is what the guy wrote me, I just dont want to say his name cause if any of those guys maybe lurk these forums I dont want it to cause problems for him but this is the store he gave me.

"So On friday night (12/30/05) My friends and I are chilling on 43rd Ave and Bell Rd in the Fry's parking lot. I saw these HID's coming with the yellow fog lights in the middle. At first I thought "Eh another DC2 with an itr conversion" but, as it got closer i noticed it was a DA...I shat myself and realized what the expletive it was. Calmly I walked up to my brother and friends and notified them of what was up. So they said the best thing to do is MAKE sure it was it before i did anything, So as he parked I walked up to the car pretending i was on my phone and just checked the front end out..i knew it was it and as upset as i was i froze. I stood there and walked back. My buddy (bigger then me) walks up to him and says "Thats a sick front end" then the kid says "I know its never been done before. I was leaving the SCO shop and this guy walked up to me and asked me if that was my da, I said ya and he asked me if i wanted to buy his front end off him" I stood there and said "Oh ya? it was off his car?" the kid responds "Ya, he said he wanted to sell the headlights and all for 700, so I told him i wanted to see it, A white truck pulled and and I bought'em"

He also told me that the car it was on was an all black DA with no tint, rolling on LS mesh's and the front had recently been primered. It also had california license plates.

Hopefully this new news will help us start figure out things.

 

hope you figure out who the hell it was. if that was to ever happen to me.. i'd just give up on the import scene.

That was one of the nicest DA around. F*cK thieves! I hate all of them. I know how u feel Bro! My hatch got stolen once and my DA got broken into once. Hope u find them!

Little update..got the suspension on.

i just found out i have superior love to the DA, i really miss my car. all i have been thinking about is my car eventhough it wasnt the hottest but i loved driving it. sounds lame but i actually felt "cool" driving the DA and i think im gonna buy another one if mine isnt found after i told myself i wasnt gonna buy another FWD car, but the DA is a real nice car for its age and cheapest and easiest to repair/work on

ahhh, it depressing to see all of these nice tegs. mine looks like poo, but at least it runs like a champ. i'm slowly working on it, which kinda sucks, cuz a lot of work needs to be done to it. :sigh:

I hope it doesn't get trashed like every other good Honda

 

I made absolute sure that it was sold to a very reputable Honda enthusiast. He has an SCd Type R, and an 87 'teg with a B18C5. Both have been in magazines and both are gorgeous.

Next is a Cherokee. Done with these Colorado roads, to the trails I go.
