I own neither. But I do find it interesting that this almighty K series, according to this quote you've just made yourself, is "GREAT..... but only when swapped into another car." So the motor is wonderful, as long as you take it out of what it was engineered to be in and put it somewhere else. hmmm.... a bit of twisted reasoning but hey, this is hater-tech and I wouldn't expect anything else.

Sorry dude, I think I see more technology every day than you ever will in your life, and it has nothing to do with cars. Honda technology can pass me by as far as I'm concerned, the car hobby has changed so much into what I personally consider to be automotive hell that I'll stay with my 2001 technology the rest of my life and be completely happy. You go on and "move ahead" and worry about cutting this bracket or welding that mount to make your engine fit... and I have news for you, even if you go buy this almighty Hasport kit, guess what, ITS THE SAME THING! They're just the ones who cut this bracket and welded this mount for you. So, whether you buy a hack kit or do it yourself, its still hacking.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by b_cruz &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Anyways, I am a B series junky also but not by choice. If my money situation gets any better, I will definitely be K powered.</TD></TR></TABLE>

And as for this, my money situation IS better, and I have both. I love my K series as much as my B series for vastly different reasons. I would just never think to put the motor from one car into the other when I can B18C it up and have a reliable stock motor that I don't have to "make fit."

OK back to watching "technology pass me by." Have fun with this one.

DAMN!!!! DH is better than me. Ever think about being a lawyer?
I always wondered why people never raise hooplah about the RSX type S like they would a K20 EJ6.

i'm stuck between the 2.

i own a DA and a DC5. and i love the power of my DC5.

right now it doesn't seem worth it to put a k series into anyother car but the one's they are designed for. your spending at least 4k just to get the motor put in with all the right parts. if parts ever start getting cheaper you'll be seeing a lot more k series swaps.

all motor the k series has more to offer.

boost is still kinda sketchy. all though the k series has hit 500+whp on boost on a stock bottom end. it still isn't fully developed yet. there is still a lot to learn of the k series.

b series is more formula. many people already know what kinda of power we can squeeze from a b series.

and you'll be spending a lot less money.

not everyone drag races. so a k series is a bit much for daily driving and the occasional sunday drive.... to spend 10k on a motor and swap is just plain stupid if you ask me.

people who do it just for the fact of saying "i have a k series in my hatch" and don't use it to it's full potential are

with 10 k we can all do something much better in our DA. even though a k series has more potential in the long run.... i don't think it belongs in a DA.

EK, DC2, EG.... sure why not.... maybe one day i'll think different and want a k in my DA. but as for now i'd be happy spending 10k on something a lot greater.

I aim to please. Those old pics make me miss my fresh paintjob. Now that I live in LA, my paint is taking alot of abuse. I wish it was still that shiny...maybe I should clay bar it.

EDIT: My car looks funny to me without the Mugens on it. Black wheels looks strange.

Hahaha, ohhhh....alright, that sounds more like it.

I agree, unless light is blaring on them or you are less than 20 feet away, every black (except shiny) wheel looks like a steel-steel.
