Yeah i've gone throught to many sets of wheels that's why i'm gonna powdercoat my other wheels for the summer. I'm trying to save some money to repaint my car and do a swap. Post some pics when you have some updates of the bay.

whatgsr- spend the money and bring it to a shop. S&w cages and all those other ones suck. they fit like ****, sit low as hell, and are cheap as hell. I'm going to a chassis shop and getting a cage put in for 1200 bucks. 12 point. When its your life i wouldn't cheap out. Im getting a chute mount also. my DA is going to be fun.

it has the palmy blue interior...my interior is in great shape..spotless..still dont know if i want to change it to black though..tough decision ..but i got it for a deal 1400 with 195K which runs like a charm...bought it form a old guy.. he bought it from cali 5 years ago...he keeped up on all maintenance.. his maintenance book is thick as f***..so im happy to drive this car...car could go for another 100k or more depends on how heavy is my feet..lol

Sounds good, those parts are all floating around here, coulda went used to save yourself some money.

 

sounds almost identical to how i got mine. same color exterior/interior. same condition. and i got mine for 1500 with about 150xxx i think.

Although I do not agree with you on the buying used parts thing, depending on the quality of the part it's sometimes a wise buy. BUT I know what you mean. I'd rather do it one time then do it several.

 

it depends on what it is. like i bought a used 70mm TB... that cant fail.. injectors, rods, pistons, blocks, etc. i would never dare to buy used.

i am excited to see how my full hydro clutch conversion works. i finished it up last week. i just have to get the motor back in but its all still in cali at GE.
