BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
Well to make along story short I had a 1996 Civic EX that was about done besides the paint. This past summer the quarter panel just started to get rust from no where. Me myself I could'nt fix it, took it to get a estimate on it and it was like 3,000+. I started to look for a another shell to swap everything into and found a 2000 MR EM1 for a steal. So I bought it. I've had the Ex for about a year and ahalf i've done 3 swaps to it already. Bought it with a stock ls turbod by ebay lol..

but yeah man theres allot of honda heads in washington, we put together this H2b EG that we take to allot of race events we try to atend every racing event in washington we go to oregons wood burn race way for battle of the imports, this year were putting together a 62mm turbo h22 for this years race season
so....expensive day today...
$40 to deck a z6 block .030" and hot tank it
$60 to turn a crank....
$93 total for bearing's, thrush washer's, front and rear seal's...
still gotta pick up a few thing's and my main bearing's will be here tomorrow, started painting the motor, im, and head silver.....not digging it...but i just think black would **** up my harness tuck....

^ That sound about right except the 60$ to turn the crank...unless you had some real damage you could have just used some 800grit, oil, and a shoelace.
I get mine put on a lathe for 28$, if it cost 60$ I would use the shoelace method (I believe the steps are also in the helms book)

if you ask me... 60 is cheap to get a crank turned. around here it costs 150 to get it turned down. unless he's just referring to getting it polished. i get my cranks mic'd, magnafluxed, and polished for 50

But im sure it all getting done by a shop and they know what there doing
my new rear hubs/wheel bearings came yesterday for my daily. now i just gotta get them on the car and get rid of this annoying noise from having bad bearings

I have a feeling she might turn up after Feb. because the tags expire and I have a feeling the fools that stole her are probably driving it around or repainted it or something. It's all good though I have my new ride and I won't start building him until later this year

i bought this 92 civic si for 2800 bone stock off a girl. future plans i have a f20b getting bored and stroked to a 2.5 liter monster by RS MACHINE and a portflow head getting dropped off next week and just ordered my 98+ spec itr tranny 4.7 fd yesterday.
