BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
Well me and a friend went to go tear it apart to do the timing and discovered it needed an engine swap. My friend and I were originally going to do it ourselves, but it was winter and a storm was coming so I had to let someone else do the swap. :'(
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do my own swap, I really wanted to but we got hit with over a foot of snow and the car needed to go somewhere. I ended up with a junkyard engine. The car sat for 5 months before it was completely done and drivable. Sigh. Now I love racing stupid guys who pull up next to me revving their engines.
I wasn't, it happened after making a turn and the guy all of sudden slammed on his brakes when he was merging onto a on ramp from residential road to a public road.He anticipated the other drivers speed wrong, but oh well **** happens. The guy was cool about it, he had no damage whatsoever to his 2004 Chevy Silverado.
we'll see what happens, if its gonna cost me 1000. I'd rather get SIR bumpers. but my last accident I never had to pay anything out of pocket. they just deduct it from the car value, and if the damage cost 70% of what the cars worth, then they total it.
woohoo!!! we have hatchback!
day two of driving it and it's great, its in tip top minus the leaking valve stem's in the head....fml, it smokes like you wouldnt believe....**** it, idc, i need the car back....

Right now, just looks like hood, bumper, grill, headlight, and bumper beam.I wont know until I put on a new bumper beam.If the core support is tweaked at all (crosses fingers).I'm getting all the parts on Friday and my insurance is gonna give me a estimate on Friday on how much there gonna pay to fix it.If anything i'll have them cut me a check and i'll just fix it myself.

its a work in progress.
