BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
so i FINALLY got off my *** and started porting this y8 head and intake manifold
never done anything like this 1st hand but ive been around it and seen it done and asked 2 million question's while i was watching...its gasket matched, i removed ALL casting's/imperfections and smoothed EVERYTHING out...that i could reach lol....
still a lot more work to do...but oh is it gonna be worth it, stroker bottom end, pnp 272 y8 head up top...then the snail get's thrown on

and ima shave the **** out of this im, and port match it to a y8 throtte body...already cleaned up the casting's on the runner's and gasket matched it...

and i did all this with a $3 hf dremel and a $30 aluminum cutter bit...

cheap *** REAL power ftw!!!

don't leave it plugged in when you aren't using it, their power tools have been known to catch fire, a LOT of their electrical tools have been known to catch on fire. Cheap chinese motors with **** poor insulation
^^lord no lol, every tool in my tool box has a place...
good looking out though, ive been checking out the real dremel's but honestly, im not gonna buy one till i burn this one up...

I had to fix a minor issue, the rear mounting bracket was sitting over the edge of the console, so it was visible, I had to mill the wooden blocks down about 1/8 of an inch, then shear some material off of the aluminum plate on both ends, then the plate hit the lights, so it required cutting some material off of the plate. It sounds simple, but it involved a lot of running between the shear, the belt sander, the mill, and screwing in and removing the screws over and over. now the front bracket is off a bit, but I'm working on it.
this is the bracket before

Got the house to myself tomorrow so I'll be spraying the rest of my DA.
Question: I got my GO-Autoworks intercooler but have no idea how to mount it? Do most people weld tabs on the intercooler or what? ANY help would be really great, thanks.

I built the roof harness, I'm going to try to get it installed tomorrow

I tested the gentex self dimming mirror I got from the yard, these things are awesome, they should be standard equipment on every car, no flipping the mirror because some idiot is tailgating you. bright lights behind you and they turn dark

I got a double drive Kobalt screwdriver for Christmas, These things are killer, I've been messing with the overhead console all day, and it's been very well tested

I'm building a jdm b18c block. I'm going for a high compression all motor build for the street. Which rotating assembly should I use? Are the ls rods and crank better than the gsr? I'm boreing it over to 82mm and using nippon ctr pistons.
