BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
Well i posted my bay last week and this week i got my frontend painted and "mocked" up, so yea no bolts holding the panels, there just kind of resting, But you can get an idea. Its funny how just a week ago my car was just "crap" or "junk" and im never going to get it driving. Then you just throw a little paint on there and everybodys mind changes.Fast. :ramble:
Anyways here is how it sits now, the rest should be done this week.

yes sir, i got about 2 months of practice buying paint and clear over and over until i was feeling ready (and in the paint&body section alot). Then after im done painting next week its just a matter of putting it back together and wetsanding, cutting, polishing ect.
yea i bought a 35 gallon compressor (a little small i know) 400$
and a FX3000 sharpe paint gun for 140$
base/clear/good DTM primer/cleaning solvents/sandpaper 500$
not to shabby, i just wish i had a real work place other than my small garage, but eh. ill be updating by next week

my car is registered til next year, but expired registration due to not providing proof of insurance for 6 months. now my tags expired. so my only choice would be non-op till the day it turns over.

I finally paid for my medicine so I can start my antibiotic, I have this coming, it's a genuine MOMO Teg type R wheel, the splines are the same as whats in my 86, it should bolt right in. I'm good at steering wheel restoration so dying the leather is no big deal. It looks a lot like the factory wheel from the 86, just better,

***7lb flywheel, ive got a 5lb crank pulley on the d15b1 i have in the car now and i keep getting them mixed up....but it will NOT be going on this "d17y8" motor, i like the bearing's where they are, and i know im running a huge risk running the 7lb flywheel.....hoping to rev a little quicker and get .2-.3 off the 1/4 mile....like i said im shooting for 14's...and its GOING to happen....
@ lost, that wheel looks to be in better condition than whats in my EG9 right now.
Nice buy, quite a comfortable wheel IMO!
Quick question for you fine folks, would it be OK to drive a short distance to a tuner to have my ECU chipped / base tuned on the stock P30 ECU. (no high rpm / vtec)
Engine is a B18C GSR with a Skunk2 inlet manifold & very basic bolt on's.

Thanks for the help guys!
Had someone else telling me that the P30 would run the B18C perfectly fine, which I was a bit hesitant about. Something tells me it will be running a bit lean??
