just checking in, I've been sick with this bronchitis and sinusitis, and pretty much lost two weeks of my life, so much to do and so much to catch up again. I have all these projects going for my car, and I haven't been able to do anything, tomorrow I need to fix the Lincoln, so I have something to drive

can someone come up with an obd2 honda civic alternator plug? a couple of people on here said they would sell me one, then they started ****ing with me about it, i sent off money to someone for one, then he said thanks for the money, **** you! so this is getting really old, someone else on here sent me the wrong one, then refused to refund the money or get me the right one

if i go to the junk yard tuesday i'll try to snag one
actually, lost, how would i check to see if an a/c thermostat is working? it has a 3 prong connector. one wire is power and when i touch a test light to it, it lights right up, one wire cycles the thermostat once around, and the last wire does nothing

it's on my 96 accord. i'm almost positive that it is the issue because the thermostat and the pressure switch are the only things in the loop that goes to the ecm and the pressure switch was fine
edit: my idiot mechanic put a permanent ground in on that circuit and the compressor was running fine but it was on even when the a/c was off so something is telling the ecm not to ground the circuit hence, my a/c not working

check your fan blower switch, position 4 provides ground to the switch which provides ground to the thermostat, honda uses mostly ground switched circuits power to the light in the switch is provided by the light circuit, ground is provided by the ac switch grounding through the blower switch
typing this one wire at a time
blue/red is ground from the ac switch to the thermostat
black/yellow is power in to the thermostat
blue/yellow is switched ground out of the thermostat to the clutch relay
you should have ground at blue/red with the blower switch at position 4, black/yellow should always have power key on, and blue/yellow is switched ground when the thermostat should be asking for cooling, chances are the thermostat contains the AC delay timer, since it needs power in, this module may have failed
