BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
I got the setup from a friend and he was the one that got it tune. he said it made 250 on 10 psi but when i swap everything into my car and had a working boost gauge, it was only reading 6psi. i never touched the boost controller the entire time we did the swap and the only way you can turn it up or down with that boost controller was with an hex key. Also my friend got it tune with stock piping by DNR.
Im not 100 percent sure if thats what it really made im just going with what he told me.
I havent got it tune yet because i wanna upgrade piping and upgrade turbo first. Also looking to do a mild build next year so i might as well just wait until everything is done and get it tune all at once. car drives fine and pulls good so imma just wait it out.

exactly!
engine plans for next year are:
- rebuild head with type r internal or stock b16 internals.
- rebuild block with
- 84mm cp piston
- eagle rods
- acl race bearing
- arp rod bolt
- stock LS micro polish crank
- stock sleeve
- Upgrade to 2.5" piping from downpipe back
- Retune and shooting for 350hp.
plan for car next year.
- D2 or FFtype1
- blox LCA
- engine bay painted teal
- wire tuck
- mugen rep front lip
- spoon rep rear lip
- POSSIBLE NEW PAINT JOB
- POSSIBLE NEW WHEELS
stay away from blox control arms. the bushings are JUNK and WILL fall apart on you. i highly recommend you look into something better, unless you plan to put brand new bushings in as soon as you get them
Also if you are picking between b16 and itr valve train i know that the ITR valves are forged one piece. I am running ITR valve train on a 600hp goal. with SuperTech springs and retainers
I had blox lca before, never had a problem but I do hear it goes bad a lot.
I had a b16 head before with type r internal and gsr cam on my b20v turbo and it was great so imma just do the same setup.

you were one of the lucky ones. everyone once in a while i come across someone who actually didnt have problems, but 9 times out of 10, they destroy em in no time
personally, i like the gsr tranny. its shorter, but its not so short to where high way driving becomes annoying. i know a lot of people who have b16 tranny's and they hate highway driving. one option you could do is to put an ls 5th gear in it for cruising and gas saving. then you have the best of both worlds
I had a b16 and now have a gsr I personally like the gsr better. I daily my car and when had the b16 driving to work it was horrible and it killed my gas like crazy. B16 for track gsr for daily!!
b16 with ls 5th if you got the money and want to go that route, if you want to just drop one in with no issue then gsr! FTW.
Starting my new job monday!

just all depends who does your work for you, if you know the right people you can probably have someone put a 5th gear in for you for a price that isnt too high, it would be the best bet for you, but it would be alot cheaper to just get a gsr transmission haha
