Forget the new headers, turbo manifold would look better. That motor looks so small in that big engine bay. Lol. Good work though. Keep it up!

thanks for the positive feedback. i get alot of mixed opinions with the tilt brackets but i think it looks a bit more aggresive imo, plus people REALLY see the third light on the erebuni wing when they tailgate me

got my head back from the machine shop yesterday. they planed the head .004 to get it all nice n smooooooth. and also heli-coiled two of the holes for the valve cover bolts. oh, and it was also hot tanked. they even did the inside of the valve cover. its spotless inside now. sorry for the crappy cell pics

I spent an hour having the dentist scrape at my gums with no Novocaine, but I did manage to get something done, I'm trying to get this dash out this weekend, I need to weld some brackets to the steel supports so I can get the radio box under it. I got all the wires soldered to the radio face and the radio box, I still need to wait on the HDMI coupler so I can plug the two together, I need to move the multifunction box from behind my center console, then the steel heater core brackets are the ones that come out, the box brackets need to be ground off, then a plate welded on to attach the radio box. this will put the box right behind the center console, and I'll even be able to load a cd from the passenger side.

I'm going to use my android most of the time for music so I need a switch box between the android and the xm radio, the problem is when the android is plugged in and on Xm I can't hear the phone ring, when it's switched to XM, I'll route the audio of the phone through a small amp, in this case the circuit board from a small set of powered speakers that needs 12 volts, I also have a voice warning system from an old Z car, it has an audio pass through, if the box isn't talking, speaker level is transferred right through it, I'll run the phone through that, and to the external speaker,this allows the phone and voice system to share one speaker, the speaker was SUPPOSED to go under the dash above the center console, but I discovered the choke cable assembly hit the speaker.


I was thinking a vintage motorola external speaker behind the dome light or possibly somewhere else in the car

on friday night i was coming home from a friends house and was sitting at the light waiting for the green light and along comes a mustang w/ 2 mexican guys in it. i was like whatever im kinda buzzing and just wanted to get home.

he then revved at me.. twice.. i honestly dont know why i looked at them and started laughing. light turn green and we both took off. i got him of the line and just started pulling away.

i slowed down and let him get to my side and we took off from a roll and i just pulled from him with ease. got a good distance then slowed down again. i can hear him still roaring to catch up to me so i just left it in 3rd and once we pasted me i let him go about 1 car and then put the petal to the metal and i flew by him again and just stop. as i was getting ready to pull into the block he did a "ricer fly by." If only my buddy rode with me that night i would of had some video but he rode in the other car because he wanted jack in the box. smh.

pulled into the driveway and turns out my downpipe cracked at the flange to the turbo.. it idle normal but when i accelerate it sounds like open downpipe. pretty dope but needs to be fixed asap.

 

Yeah I should have it re-painted during tax season, still debating brakes and wheels or engine swap first?

 

what engine you gonna put in there ?

 

B20 for now and go Vtec later on or just save up until I have enough for a B20 Vtec Build. Plus I might as well enjoy my MPG while it lasts.

 

i say throw a b20 with a b16 trans and save up to go b20vtec before buying wheels
