Yeah we had to modify the down pipe on my buddies kit and we did a half back door setup with the hot side charge pipe, I'll get some pics to show you how it turned out
I was forced to buy a cd player today to replace the stock tape deck because i disconnected the ground and the radio needed a code that i don't have lol. The dealership was trying to charge me to give me the code ftl
haha that sucks herb. i'm glad i have a hookup at my dealer. i got a code i needed before for free and when i locked my keys in my car the other week (yeah i know, dumb move lol) and had to get one made for the vin, i got it done for like half price.
so i pulled my motor/tranny out of my da today to 1. see what was messed up in my tranny that my car would not move and 2. replace some gaskets that needed, well, replaced and re-set my timing.
pulled the tranny off and found the splines in the hub of my clutch disk were all rounded off and almost completely smooth. was lucky enough to pick up an act disk locally for 25 bucks though.

Take a pic of the whole thing, someone should know what brand
Did the tranny go on easy???
Any recallection of how the teeth looked during install.
you usually see that happen when a clutch is installed wrong, majority of the time.
I've also seen cars with high output that dump the clutch a lot do this.
But before people start calling me negative and say I'm harassing you lol....cuz I'm really just trying to help....
I'm willing to be it was previously installed wrong on another car, wearing the teeth slighty. Enough to allow you to install it in your car and strip it out over time.
Whenever installing a clutch make sure all the teeth are full and when the tranny goes on make sure it slips right in. If its tough at all pull that ***** back off and realign it.
i honestly have no clue how old it is. someone i used to be friends with got it off a car in a junk yard a few years ago and never used it. it was in my shop for quite a while before i decided to use it. it was on a rebuild b18b with cams and intake manifold so nothing special at all. was put in in preparation for boost that hasn't happened yet. i also do not know what brand clutch it is but looks like the cheaper ebay clutches. i'd like to know what caused it to do this as i've never had it happen before. my input shaft looks perfectly normal and up until the moment it gave out, it worked perfectly fine the whole time i had it in my car (about 4 months or so). never gave an indication of having any problems. never had any problems shifting or anything. no grinding. nothing. used a clutch alignment tool like always when i installed it as well.

tranny slid on as normal as far as i can remember. as for the teeth, they looked fine as well from what i remember. i didn't notice them looking any different. also forgot to mention, the springs were very loose and some of the metal that holds the springs was ripping/breaking off. if you shake the clutch, its very noisy lol.
i'm not gonna say i wasn't ever hard on the clutch, cuz i used it for what it was made for. but most of the time, i was not beating on it. like i said, i grabbed perfectly fine up until the second it quit working.
hopefully it does not happen again with the act disk i'm putting back in! i'm always having the stupidest problems with this damn car which is why it sits more than its driven/worked on.

This is what happens when dumb ********* do an alignment on my car

Are they even suppose to remove the wheels when doing an alignment?

Broken plastic tab and the threaded collar inside the cap is pulled out

This is how it's suppose to sit

And now it doesn't sit flush allowing the plate to rattle. plus it looks like they took a wrench to my centercaps
