Was at my mom's house today and my IC pipes came in. Since i had all my turbo parts at my moms i decided to mock it up to see how it would look.
When i started cleaning up, the UPS dude came and handed me a small package. didnt think it was for me until i looked. It was my sohc turbo manifold!
Almost there. Just need a fuel pump and i should be able to finish my turbo!

ef hatch is looking good. any front shots/better shots of the lip?
looks like that intercooler/piping kit fits pretty good. love seeing boosted single cams! i'm hoping i can get the money together i need in the next week or so to order new piston rings and all my gaskets/seals to rebuild my single cam finally

got new mud guards
and repainted my moldings and side skirts
Also got a new deck, even though it's a older model.I like it better than my 2010 model Sony Xplod deck.

also ordered new kenwood rear speakers to match my front kenwood ones.Since I blew my OEM ones. hahaha

So I bought my coupe in november of 09 as just a shell.
things that were missing
Interior:
-Front Seats
-Rear Seats
-Everything in trunk
-Center console
-Stereo
-Gauge Cluster
Exterior:
-Hood
-Front Bumper
-Fenders
-Headlights
-Corner Lights
-Sunroof
-Core Support was mangled
Suspension:
-Front upper control arms
-Atleast 4 wheels studs
-Front wheel bearings were toast
-All springs and struts were bad
-Rear lower control arms were bad
Engine:
-No Motor
-No Tranny
-No Mounts
-No Exhaust
-No Engine Harness
-No Radiator
-No ECU
-No Shift linkage
Pretty much the car was a wreck and had be pretty well taken apart

not bad at all man
the second gen eclipses n talons are known to get crank walk. not all of them will get it, but it has been far too common among them. a lot of people who get serious about building them will swap in a 6bolt motor from the first gens to avoid this issue. with that being said, dsm's are know to be VERY cranky cars. they will run GREAT when they want to, and absolutely HORRIBLE and a huge pain in the *** when they want to and for no reason at all. i like them, but would never want one for my daily driver cuz i've seen way too many reasons not to trust one for a daily/only car
