Not trying to be mean, but jesus people these days. It just blows my mind that people drive cars and don't know how to take care of them! A silly $5 mistake should have left you with a $2000 mistake when you blew the motor or head gasket.

Emanage is poooo! Like OldSkoolDa said, its basically like an FMU. Even though it is cheap it doesn't mean it is the best option.

Sorry it took so damn long, the car still isn't at my house, it's at a friend's about 30 minutes away.........

There it is.........my $80 Da9 BG-22M with a cracked head.

PS I picked up a b20b head minus cams and retainers for free, so if I can secure funds soon, it will be driveable again soon. I can get a blue passenger side fender for $20 as well. The block on the drivers side is because the PO took the bolts out of the front suspension to drop motor out of bottom. otherwise it is on ground usually, which is why it has a cracked head. COUNTRY ROADS PWNED RADIATOR FTL!!!!!

hey Stevo, I'm glad you are ok man. Damn the car I'm just glad you are cool. From the picks looks like it was quite a fender bender. Hope everything will be fixed and you will be good to go soon.

I'm gonna say since you seem like you don't want to spend money don't go turbo.
Build an all motor setup.
If you try to go cheap into a turbo setup it will only bite you in the *** in the end!
IMO Ebay kits are junk as well as Greddy/Drag, etc. Look around HT you can piece together a great kit for a good price and make good power as well.

im not trying to go cheap in a turbo setup. i'm just trying to spend my money wise. and thats what im doing trying to peice a good turbo kit, not some cheap ebay brand or chinese knock off, what's the diffrence between searching ebay or HT and piecing a kit if im looking for quality parts, and not spend like $3,500- 4000 for a kit ( not including the tunning) and we all know there aren't really any turbo kits for our da's. plus greddy is really the only company that makes carb legal kits, and cali can be **** about smog and and "carb" legal products chp can be ********

Ebay is crap.
Those 'kits' are made in China in the same factory that makes BBQ Tongs for the Dollar Store, think about it.

I guess I dont know about the Carb legal stuff.
LoL, "Kits" just basically refer to the Intercooler piping, thats it.
So you don't need a kit persay and the Greddy kits are SOFT!
Look in the Forced induction classifieds, its a gold mine.
Find an SC61, Ram Horn, dp and your halfway there.

bottom line, in california you NEED smog legal. if your car is turboe'd its not about IF you get pulled over its WHEN. because it will happen. and if you dont have those carb legal stickers, you're fucced. if you dont have the 600$ to pay each ticket when you get state reff'ed or to pay the impound fee as well, either go carb legal or built N/A

Then how do all those big turbo 500hp+ cars in Cali make it???
I understand the whole Carb but I don't have to worry about it in MD(yet) so I'm stuck on telling him how to make his car "fast".
To me a Greddy kit or similar is a starter kit good for maybe 300hp, which in my opinion is a waste of a turbo setup. a 220 wheel Built motor would be so much more fun than a boosted 300hp and CARB legal!

thats why im going with the greddy kits, there legal. i got pulled over once by a chp when i had my lude, and he popped my hood, he saw my header and said thats illegal then i said no, it has a carb legal stamp, lol he didnt know what to say, so he give me a 10 dollar fix it ticket for my exhuast which the judge waived since it was within the legal db sound

Honestly you think that now until you drive it for a few months and realize how slow it is, why such low power goals. Honestly if you are shooting that low you should really look into an ALL MOTOR Build. Like I mentioned earlier, 220 wheel from a built motor SHOULD be faster and more fun than a measly 250 wheel turbo setup.
AND a 250 wheel turbo motor most likely wont get your DA into the 12's

H3 for fogs and 9007 for the headlight black and red wires are for the fog you will need to wire them up also when putting 9007 you will need to do some triming of the tabs so they fit
