ok so i plan on doing a na ls setup but i wanna use oem b16 pistons do they have to be modified to go on my oem ls rods and will i have to worry about clearence issues

Hit up a big local meet today. Saw a rhd Efini RX7, rhd CTR, and a whole lot of high hp boosted Hondas. The rx7 and ctr were the real thing too, the guys both had import documents in their front windows!

well the reason is im only looking for about 170-180 whp and i can get that plus the tq buy just building my ls motor and for cheaper then doing a swap around 2500 for the build versus spending 2500 for a b16 which i will only get 145 whp sounds like a no brainer to me lol

yeah no doubt. this rain is sucking ***! but, i did have fun today putting my friends turbo on his accord. anyone going to carlisle this weekend will see it there. its gonna be sick when its done. should be finishing it up either tonight or tomorrow morning. just gotta finish the charge piping

Here's an update on my car. new lug nuts painted my CF hood black. too bad i didnt have enough money to fix the clear coat spray paintw as onsale for 1 buck per can so what can i say haha. also new hood pins. my first time using photoshop!
noo turbo for me if it was just a weekend car sure why not but this is my everyday car and 2500 bucks in na parts geez i almost ran out of parts to get before i calculated up to 2500 most expensive part was the crower 404 cams and i can get them for less then 300 bucks oh no wait a sec the hondata s300 was 450 sorry and im pretty sure i can get 170whp out of my ls for that price
nothing wrong with a turbo car for daily man. as long as you're motor is healthy to start with. run low boost and tune it the right way and use good parts and you're good to go.
as for your 170 on an ls na...im not sayin you cant, but im not sayin its as easy as you're saying either. are you planning on head work other than cams? thats where you're gonna get most of your power from.
either way you, just make sure you really do your research and see what works and what doesnt work. i think a mildly built ls na would make a fun daily. i know i used to be happy with my da with just a b1 swap, skunk2 intake mani, and crower stage 1 cams. but im a boost junkie and like a crack head needs crack, i need boost!!! lol
