quick question do those hydro guards for ur intakes actually work cause i got a cai on my teggy and im just wondering cause im scared that once i drive it that it will suck up some water considering its pretty low...and in my own drive way i get puddles like crazy and its like a lake

Its a little filter like piece that goes in between the Short Ram and Cold Air pipes of the intake. My guess is it lets extra air in/out so theres not enough force to suck water into your motor.

IMO cold air intakes suck and arn't worth the price. Get yourself a 3" Pipe and Velocity stack

I don't right now, I should see if I can make one. I think it sounds perfect but that is such a subjective thing it should almost not be said, haha, I have a test pipe and it is a tiny bit raspy but a high flow cat will easily fix that. I'll let you know what I come up with.

It was kinda hairy last night, I got stuck doing OT and started to drive home at 10:15pm. Country roads were covered so it was slow going. Highway was covered too so I had to do 20 under.

I got passed by 6 18 wheelers in a row at one point, I pretty much pissed myself at that point.

i slid off the road in my gf's civic lx sedan. i was sitting at a stop sign and then the car just slid horizontally into the ditch. it was pretty funny. im glad there wasnt a gully or a guardrail there.

i couldnt even make it up the one hill last night. had to stop and swing my front end back around to face down the hill and go another way. i was pissed. had several other hills i barely made it up. was half way off the road at one point going up a hill cuz my car just kept pulling itself off the road and i had no choice but to keep goin at that point. slid through a stop sign. car wanted to go sideways and dif. times. **** sucked! and its not like i dont know how to drive in the snow, i've grown up with the ****. my car just sucks ***** in the snow and is useless!

I want one, always have.
Have to wait a while though, other more important things to worry about first.
