ive had my da for about a year now, i bought it as a rolling chasis Which was a POS but hey cant beat the $300 i paid for it. I bought the car cause i was tired of my beat up hatch and which i was known for but it was decently fast. i bought the da as a project car and to resurect it. when i bought it it had no motor, semi clean interior, both bumpers were busted up and broken in half and a cracked in half sun roof. i replaced the blueish lite gray seats with a pair of dark blue and dark gray i found out off a gs in the junk, seats were mint and couldnt leave without em (fronts and backs). i basically gutted the car they came out of for interior pieces oh and a sunroof. i picked the da for the body lines and interior space compared to my older ef hatch. the hatch was parted out for the da. what parts worked stayed or modified. my pride of the car is my engine oh and rebuilt ys1 tranny from the hatch (all new bearings seals) from honda. i feel like i can write a book on all the **** i took off and replaced on it. i dont have a pic of when i got it but i do have a pick when i first swapped the bumpers and headlights. i plan on keeping it for awhile and have plans for it still but short on money lol had it for a year now and still havent drove the car since i put the motor in. the Da has costed me about $3-4k in total since the original $300 last year. i want to join the da family for many reasons. im repping the da cus evry1 in my crew has new gen chasis and waned to be different from the rest and i dont see many nowadays on the road. plz vote me in

Member #370 checking in, I don't think I'll be getting my car back. I guess I shall retire and not take up a number. I still will check up on the members from time to time. Good luck to the squad. It was fun during these past few month while being in the squad.

i would, but unfortunately they are fubar'd bc it took me 3 weeks of torquing the rods and trying to spin the crank to figure this out. im gonna call my supplier and see what they can do to get me my money back or some in store credit or something.

Is your fan cutting on?
Did you check your antifreeze level?

yeah, forum change=GAAAAAY!!!

make sure you have anti-freeze in the car fisrt of all.
then try the thermostat.
if that doesnt do it i'd say possibly water pump or head gasket....

well the thermostat was just replaced recently and i just had the coolant flushed so everything should be at the proper level. so far i've had two people tell me about the water pump, and im hoping that its not the headgasket

Sucks man. One easy way to test the Headgasket.
Pull the Rad Cap off and with it off start the car. If it sprays like old faithful your headgasket is toast.
