My DA is gutted, just a dash/cluster and 1 seat, everything else is gone

 

Hey guys got my da running good idles nice, the only thing is making some noise in the head? almost like a knock but its barley there, its deff the head...just wondering what you experienced guys think? im wondering my LMA?

 

i had same problem it was my lmas luckily i had another gsr head and just swapped them out but if i was you i would spend the money on the new coil type LMAS they are bad lol im gonna use them when i rebuild my head another thing you could have valve lash have you checked them out?

Im going to adjust the valves tomorrow and see what happens, I really never messed with my head that much, my friend that knows a decent amount about them is coming over tomorrow night to see if he could figure it out...Its just weird cause it was fine when I parked it now its just making a little noise and its bothering me lol

also lsvteg even if your fully gutted sept dash and etc for every -100lbs you only gain like a tenth of a second so unless you got a lexan windows and a fiber glass front end or a cf trunk with lexan window i still dont see a 180whp DA goin high 12s low 13s on street tires

yea with over 300 hp and "shity tires" I have trouble hitting low 13's, haven't broken into the 12's yet either so 180 hp and hitting them, dunno mang!

You should be able to go 12s with 300whp maybe just need seat time? I went mid 11's with my 370whp da full interior

yea I suck at launching. no matter what rpm I launch at when vtec engages it just starts spinning, through first, second, and some of third. I need some D.R.'s these crappy fusions just aint cutting it!

Was going to the post office at the mall by my house early this morning. Following behind a 4 Runner. All of a sudden she stops, I stop a bit back from her then before I can react the reverse lights are on and she hits me. The lady full out backed into my car, admit to not checking her mirrors because 'the mall was closed and no one was around'. Insurance claim is open, she is 100% at fault.

Won't hear about it until Monday, because of the age they might write it off so if that happens I will buy it back, strip it and buy another one.
