That honed setup looks look real nice. How much did you pay for the sensors for it?
i didnt go to honda yet. However i priced out cam angle sensor on hondapartscheap.com, and they were 127 a piece. For the accord k series. Im sure you could get them cheaper or even used. But i kinda wanted something that doesnt have unknown history. Now if i come across some freebies or cheapies from one of my friends k engines, that different. I typically always try to push for a new clean slate though on

i think it was 27 dollars. It was DHL btw. I think thats not bad considering i got it in like three or four days. But also that, nowadays whenever i order something small, it always atleast close to 14 dollars for usps priority mail. ****** summit charges like 9 or 19 bucks regardless of what was ordered.
If i was really concerned, i prolly take what i watched or learned from it, and make my own variation. But i dont really run my fuel that low. And when it is low, i dont push the car hard.

Yea I would imagine a hose clamp and some fuel line would solve the same thing right?
theres currently still 3 in stock. But why change from your EPM trigger kit?

My epm is over ten years old and they are discontinued. I cant expect it to last forever.
Gotcha, well i hope you ordered. Still three in stock lol. They seem to go like hotcakes.
Last time something like this scenerio for honda products kept getting backordered. Was the GSC t1 cams. And i never got any because i listened to someone else early on, but was also on the fence for too long after results started being populated. Now stuck with the GSC n1's untill if i decide to change cams up later. At this point i just want to enjoy my car again. Spends more time sitting or in pieces than anything
Built and tested the cam angle sensor pigtails and sub harness today. Going to honda tomorros to order my sensors. Then will building the trigger assembly. Finally, pinning the trigger harness.

Hey if you ended up ordering one and need cam angle sensors. I will have an extra pairs. They will be a use pair from a 2011 crv. I dont want to use because they dont have the orientation i want. Getting a scrap k24z whatever from one of the tech.
I too have been soldering my connections all these years and want to change that. Ive been wanting to get some open barrel crimps (not the tool but the actual crimp) for splicing wires. At least for under dash wiring. Soldering in there is a PIA.
Any recommendations on where to purchase from? I recently bought a cheap terminal set from HF and it was unbelievably bad. So that has put me off from buying any of the cheapo stuff I see on amazon.
I already have a tool for open barrel crimps, just need to get some crimps themselves.

For a good crimp, you need the proper tooling. Regular ole crimpers arent advised. Crimps and solders both can fail due to improper installation
Yeah I have the correct tool. I bought it when I was doing some open barrel crimps on an duetsch style connector for my injector harness I built so I could quickly swap back to stock injector for emissions testing.
Thanks.
Got the sensors in and everything assembled. Since the engine vibrates pretty hard, i wanted to ensure that the sensors syncing the igntion signal doesnt vibrate loose, causing trigger issues later. I wanted to loctite the threads on the bolts. But the housing is aluminum, and i didnt have and PINK loctite. So i used a light coat of hondabonda on the threads. Used hondabond because i was worried about blue pulling aluminum in the threads in the future.
Got the harness on, routed, ran down to the ecu. Also pictured are some used extra sensors and connectors i picked up for future use. Or if someone purchases honeds trigger kit and is in need of k series cam angle sensors.
How do you read that part number list? I just want some open U open terminals and some open ring terminals for ground. Are any from eBay just as good? Copper is copper right?
I can't make sense of that site's number system. But I like how they rep HP
Last piece of the puzzle came in yesterday. My older aem uego wideband is being switched out for aem's new x series uego. It allows data delivered from CAN directly to the ecu. No more analog input or offset voltages for accurate ecu reading(which ive read become inconsistent pretty quick. And i dont want to be chasing issues after my tune on a new platform im not to familiar yet). Just have to do the install then its ready to be dropped off at pure tuning. Decided to just wait til after the tune for havin new tires ordered and put on. I just want to drive the car again

Date is set to have the car dropped off at thr tuner on the 27th. Moved the cam gears back to TDC now that have an aftermarket ignition system and ecu. I can forcibly change the trigger offset. So i need to redo the valve lash again. Last time made some changes, the engine had good rpm. Was closer to starting but didnt. I think the map calibration table for sure needs some love. I sure the issue will stsnd right out to the tuner when it gets there
Havent even ran long enough to verify no leaks from the oil setup i did before switching the ems
Haha i havent touched the car, or laptop since like january. Or whenever the last time i was dickin around. Decision was already made and set to get it to the tuner. Just had to wait for his schedule to clear up.
