Re: ''simply BLACK''
So i had a thud under the chassis after a quick burst. Suspension rode as usual after the thud. Nothing checkout in the rearview mirror. This morning, i jacked the car up, and decide to see whats up. First decide to pop the hood first. To my surprise, ****** pnk *** spectre filter was off slipped off the intake. At that point i had bout a ten minute drive back home.
Took pics of inside the compressor
Luckily, it appears theres no damage

I always order my t-bolt clamps from here. Pretty cheap and they work just fine.

Yeah I got a bag of those for like $15 lol.
Hose clamps work just as well for that kind of application. You can find 4" or w/e size the inlet is at your local plumbing or hardware store for a few bucks

UPDATE! UPDATE!
Good news, bad news, and more news.
Havent posted in awhile, but im still on here lurking three times a day. Just avoiding a certain member. Ive still been PMing certain members
So my school, ITT-Tech, closed. So my thirty credits went out the windows cause they werent transferable.
Went to a dyno day back in august i believe. Had the highest whp of the day. My friends turbo bimmer had the highest torque of the day with 470wtq. When i went my bbg wasnt set up yet. As well as having multiple suspect vacuum leaks. The graph was with the tires spinning on the dyno again. And still needing a retun. I was just waiting for my new exhaust.
Ill let the pics do the rest of the work
This happened today. I drive the car maybe five miles a week. And the bullshit happens.

Welcome back joker!
Man that's some bs on top of some bs lol. How the hell do you just lose 30 credits. That's a lot of wasted work, time, and money. They better make that **** right. How did the car get wrecked? Sucks to see that man.

Credits wise, the two schools i looked at, have the same program title. But the course work is different.
Accident wise, it was half on public property. Half on the sidewalk into the intersection. As im waiting traffic to pass so i can preceed into the main road. Dick face backs up into me. Yes i got is info.
License plate, license, insurance info, driver license, almost had his ssc. It was either that or get his *** beat.

Re: ''simply BLACK''
As usual problem after problem. Took my wheels i to get tires mounted on, and they scratched all four rims. They had to be repowdercoated. After two weeks of fighting with them, they paid to have them recoated.
and find this while putting my new exhaust on.
after all those headaches are done, i finally went for an alignment today. And they tell me, they cant do it because the passenger side needs a wheel bearing.
AND!!!, dyno day is tomorrow morning. Updates soon.

Re: ''simply BLACK''
Update, so today i was shown how much of a pain it is to dail in a 4 port solenoid. On one run at a certain duty cycle, we would hit 23psi. On another run, no measurement changes, the solenoid would spike to 27psi. Even though IATs did not move. Turned the quick spool off and the car still spools just as fast with it on. All in all, im happy. I went in wanting to make 440whp, .....made 422whp/ 264wtq on their mustang dyno, which only reads to 9200 lol. So at my 9500 rev limit, its prolly closer to 430whp.
meant to hit gears masters dynojet later in the day but i was beat.
todays results
from the last tune i relocated the IAT sensor, added a turbo intake, hondata CPR & BBG, and skunk2 76mm. Here is the comparison between last tune and today results, with the quick spool turned off!
vids after i get settled down later

Re: ''simply BLACK''
The addition of an actual intake system for the turbocharger makes a helluva difference more than people believe, even before utilizing solenoid control to change the frequency of the wastegate. I've always recommended that people put an actual intake onto their turbocharger compressor inlet; even if it's 3-5 inches long pointing downward or somewhere else. That additional spacing allows for better air turbulence entering the compressor inlet, and can aid in better moment of inertia transition.
Pure Tuning's dyno is known as a "heartbreaker" in these parts. so the fact you made that is nice. Why a 4 port MAC solenoid is beyond me, but, I'm sure that you're happy with the results. They do look good.
Kudos.

Re: ''simply BLACK''
yes it was a lesson learned on the 4 port. i may switch over later. yes their dyno is a heart breaker. exactly why im happy where im at. no more spinning, no headaches, other than still having dial in my bbg setup a little better
